Cat's Cafe: A Comics Collection

I love this book!! I'm already a huge fan of the comic series but something about them in this book makes it even more special. I see myself in Rabbit, Hyena, Penguin, basically all of them--it's like a warm hug for my soul. I laughed, I cried, I tagged my favorites. This book just makes me so happy.

Such a fun, happy comic with uplifting themes and adorable characters. They tackle the tough stuff too with talk of depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues. Just a wonderful read.

This book has something that anyone can relate to! It is the best book that I have bought in a while. This book made me feel so happy and not so alone in my emotions. Thank you Matt for making this!

I became a fan of Cat’s Cafe last year when I saw the Rabbit’s Care Package comic, which reminded me of a really rough time in my life. I’ve since bought myself that comic and a plush Kiwi. When I saw Matt was releasing a book, I immediately preordered it because I knew I had to have it. The book is filled with comics I have seen online and some that were new to me, and I adored every single one. I sat down and read the book in two sittings, and then I read it again. I’m so glad that there is a book out with so many comics that fit every mood and situation a person could be going through. That Tarpley includes so many real-world, mental health issues is the reason I’m such a big fan. A fantastic read with all your favorite characters. The picture quality is stunning. I can’t recommend this book enough.

These comics are just a salve for the soul. Funny, poignant and sometimes heart wrenching. But you can always feel the creators intent. Empathy, love and helping other not feel alone. In short....KIWI!

Well then, welcome to Cat's Cafe! I have been following Cat's Cafe on Instagram for a while and it always puts a smile on my face. It's a great break from all the superficial posts I scroll through on a daily basis. It reminds me that people don't all think and act like me, to listen and understand what other's needs are and how they respond best to things. It reminds be how to be a better friend. This may be a bit deep for a comic review but from the comments in each post on Instagram , I think everyone gets a different feel from it and this is mine. I am glad he finally made a book and already purchased a few copies to give to friends!

I love Matt's work and art. It's sweet, funny, kind and accessible for everyone. All the characters have original, well thought out and detailed personalities. The story lines are sweet and heartwarming. The focus on mental health, caring for others and kindness is awesome and much needed. I love this book so so much!! Another one can't come soon enough!

I love this book. We pre-ordered it and waited until the day came. The author is clever in discussing, describing, and showing things that are sometimes hard to talk about, but are are the truth. It is full of wholesome goodness, tear jerking stories, and love. We need more goodness in this world. I have shared my love with everyone at work, they are wanting copies now. Thank you Mr. Tarpley. You are awesome!

The author did an amazing job putting this collection together. I had the pleasure of meeting him at a convention in Chicago and he is a pleasure. His comics bring me so much joy everyday and I'm so happy to have this collection. Some will make you cry, some will make you laugh, some will relate with you on a personal level, all will improve your day and mood.

I've become very fond of this comic strip. It gives me the warm fuzzies. I enjoy the positive messages & affection between the characters. They're adorably drawn, too. It would be a lovely comic to read aloud with a child.

I really enjoy Cat's Cafe, with so many kind and memorable characters. The strip is great, and the book is a joy ... one I am savoring to make it last as long as possible. I can recommend Cat's Cafe for any audience, young or old.

My 7 year old is obsessed with cats and is starting to form a love for books now that she's developing her own preferences. She read this book in two days and has reread it again and again.

Me abs my son (12) love this book, it’s kind And he tells me he loves the book because unlike other graphic novels he reads everyone is nice.

When I saw there was to be a book, I had to have it. The world of Cat’s Cafe is a great place to spend time with friends. The comic is lovely and gentle and helpful; it’s a place to relax and breathe before plunging back into a world that is decidedly not.

So many jokes put someone down, but not Cat's Cafe! You can read this with your child if you want and it provokes some good discussion.

Love the creator and love this book!!!! :) Support such a positive book and an amazing author however I can! Will for sure boost your day when reading.

I bought this book to be a comfort item, as a fan of Cat's Cafe comics for a long time, it seemed like an excellent purchase. I was right! I've struggled with self love for a while and the book hit just how I needed. Thank you Matt for this excellent book, I hope there are more in the future.

Love Cat's Cafe!! Matt is a very talented artist. He also has the ability through his writing to talk about difficult subjects and leave you with if not peace, then understanding.

I found this comic on Webtoon and fell in love with it instantly, when I heard a book was coming out I immediately ordered it! Very cute and a few of my favorite segments were in here too.

Awesome collection of comics! Great for the entire family. Relatable and fun. A lot of substance/length to this book - more than your average comic collection!
