Carson Dellosa | Common Core Math 4 Today Workbook | 1st Grade, 96pgs (Common Core 4 Today)

I purchased this for my daughter who is moving to second grade as practice during the summer so that she can practice math. She does 3-5 pages at a time and in my opinion has helped to strengthen her math skills and her confidence.

When I opened the pages, several had been written on and it was in VERY poor condition! I’m a teacher who wanted to use it with my kiddos and I’m unable to use this when it’s written on. I’m very disappointed ed and not to mention the very delayed shipping.

My 1st grader loves these worksheets and they are great review for what is taught in school. I’m not 100% sure these follow the curriculum week by week though. Would be interested to hear from a 1st grade teacher if this follows week by week!

Waste. The Pages have few problems (not more than 4 problems in 1 page) and most of the page is left blank. So overall not much to do. Would not recommend it. Would have been worth if price would have been 4$ or so.

This book has been great for my soon-to-be first grader. The exercises are challenging enough for her. It’s only 88 pages though, I wish it were longer.

It's right at first grade level. It's a slight challenge. Doesn't overwhelm my first grader. Awesome.

This is a great straight forward simple way to help your kids practice math. We used it for my daughter over the summer and she started 4th Grade well prepared and ready to learn.

Great for review. It is wonderful that it is correlated with the Common Core Standards. I am using it for review with my grandson.

I bought a whole set of this book series and found it very useful to improve my students' problem solving skills. The book is very thin but contains many different types of problems.

Helped improved my students grades, used as a supplement to homework. Teachers loved it.

More of a review book than anything because the topics were not in order or all together. So, you couldn't for example, teach a concept, then do pages xx-xx to supplement. But its great daily practice for concepts already learned.

Love this book! It gives great lessons and reviews for what we are talking about in class. It allows me to know if students are understanding what we are talking about.

This is great for morning seatwork. A great review of all math standards for first grade. I may order the 2nd grade level for my higher functioning students.

My 6 old enjoyed working on this book

my daughter was struggling with first grade math..the teacher suggested I get this workbook for her to do over the summer..and I must say her math skills have grown so much!!

it skips around a lot instead of focusing on one thing at a time, like "telling time", so that they really get practice. This is just daily testing on a bunch of different skills all at once. They don't get the practice! I threw ours away and ordered a math book through Teacher Created Resources, which you can purchase on Amazon, and I love it!

I plan on starting the year next year with this- I think it will be very helpful to the students.

Too difficult for my student population. Not suitable for the beginning of first grade for many students.

Works well if your child is using "math mountains" in school.
