BLACK'S LAW DICTIONARY

I'm not sure if this is an actual 4th edition. There are definitions that are not listed that I have seen in other Henry Campbell 4th edition law dictionaries.

How does one say he "loves" a dictionary? No such book is ever a page-turner or a "read in bed" tome. On the other hand, when (not if) I have to decode legalese that's thicker than the jungles of Borneo, I'll want this along. I got it because another guy recommended I have a copy at my side. After looking at ~100 terms at near-random, I'm glad I acquired it. I expect to need it. And the $200 price for a new volume is not affordable.

The product was in great condition when it was being advertised. Although upon reception I’ve discovered that the advertised pronunciation guide has been cut out with what appears to be semi competent precision. I am very disappointed about that. And the price charged for such defacement of an instrument of such value.

This book was one I always needed in my library. It’s a clean book as far as the detail. It looks like it was held on until the reader understood it for a while, however that’s how I wanted the book to come.

Every household should have one! To know the law is to be empowered.

The item arrived in the described condition and in a timely fashion. I own a 1st edition and looked forward to adding this edition to my library. The fourth revised edition is probably the last pure or unabridged edition. The codes of judicial conduct and professional responsibility are great references.

I am very happy with it. The dictionary was is in better condition than I had expected. It is an excellent resource for helping one to understand law.

Very nicely packed. Arrived sooner than expected. Book is as stated "Exceptionally nice copy". Thanks so much.

The Fourth Edition is an excellent source to obtain a fundamental understanding of words and terms used in law

Too many ripped pages but at least they said it wasn't worn. Just didn't think to that extreme

This dictionary really helps with the defining of words used in law. The words take on a whole new meaning when dealing with law & this book makes things very clear.

I ordered the Black's Law Dictionary Fourth Edition for my class and it was very informative and very helpful. I would recommend this book.

The bidding is beyond bad and so is the condition of the Dictionary. It was not worth it's price.
