Elisabeth Elliot's books are timeless
Anything Elisabeth Elliot writes is worth reading and this title is no exception. I purchased seven copies to give to friends who were going through difficult times. Elisabeth Elliot always speaks truth from Scripture and I love when she shares some hymn, poem or text from a writer that I have not heard of. She introduced me to many great writers like Amy Carmichael and Lillas Trotter.
A must read for Christian women
I have always loved Elisabeth Elliot’s style of writing. Her speech/writing is seasoned with truth and wisdom that only comes from a life clinging to Christ. This book is easy to consume yet is filled with profound truth. I am reading it for the second time through.

Bent and mis-shapen upon arrival
The delivery time was as expected but upon delivery the books were in a flimsy shipping envelope and when I pulled them out, all three were bent and mis-shaped from shipping and one's cover had been creased & bent over. Not at all the expected quality.
