I really loved this book it was so exciting to see Dexter find his man, and it was even more gratifying to find out it was James all along. I have always loved the interactions with Rex in them he is a force of nature and I absolutely adore him. I absolutely enjoyed seeing him getting more in touch with himself and being able to concentrate more fully on who he was inside was so beautiful. He has a huge heart and I loved seeing how he was able to break open James shell. James was always on the outside looking in. He enjoyed the quiet and keeping to himself was his way. I loved seeing him open up and become this whole other person than who we’ve seen before. They are absolutely perfect for one another and their chemistry is off the charts. But the best part is the laughs and the fun that they have together, especially with all of their friends together. So excited for more of them and the others I can’t wait.

Another highly entertaining read. So glad to finally have Dex's story. A few wrong words but nothing that took away from the story. Well written and thought out. So I'm thinking Zander and Larson for the next book. 😏

When l finished reading this book my feelings were all over the place. I knew the quality that Carly Marie brings to her stories, but this time the sense of rightness l felt for these two opposite characters was huge. My heart is pretty happy... So, we have James, a deputy sheriff , he is all muscles and tattoos ( sigh), but he is devoid of friends and family and unaware of the joys of life and love. He is lonely and very grouchy, and unaware that his life is about to be caught up in the hurricane that is Dexter. We already know Dexter from the previous Undisclosed book, he is a very exuberant, funny and loyal friend and colleague to Caleb. When Caleb moves away from his house next door Dexter feels left behind. So when a hunky man moves into the house he hops, skips and jumps over to meet him. Oh the fireworks between James and Dexter, James is rude, standoffish and horrible, he tells Dexter to get lost time and time again. Dexter is a lover, so he persists, forcing his way in with food and humour and his gorgeous Irish complexion. However, Mr leave me alone, is about to come crashing down with such force. This is where the story gets so sensual, Dexter and his love of sexy lingerie, lace and ruffles and bay dolls and so much more. Dexter looks and feels amazing in them, one night as he was doing a fashion show for Caleb he had no idea he was being watched. As James watched Dexter spin around in pretty underwear he felt his heart pound and his mind blow. What was happening to him ? He enjoyed girls in lingerie before, but not to this effect, he wanted to touch, but why ? How was everything he knew about himself about to disintegrate? I loved this story so much, how opposites attract and their whole lives change. The author gave the characters time to grow into their new feelings and sexual attraction. The whole story was sweet and sensual with enough angst to keep me invested. Dexter and James have a place in my heart forever.

The blurb for this story drew me in and I very deliberately chose to read this as my first Carly Marie story. The others in the series were not of interest to me, BUT if the author had better handled those themes in this installment they may have gotten me interested in reading the other books. This is technically a stand alone in that there are no crucial, unresolved plot points from a previous book that are resolved here and you have to read it all to get the point. To me, though, it does not stand alone because characters from other stories are so present that they, at times, dominate the focus. The preaching about kinks and relationships like Travis and Caleb's only makes me less interested in that kind of dynamic. I don't kink shame, I applaud anything safe, sane and consensual between functioning adults, but there are themes that I just don't like and I should have managed to avoid any ABDL with this title, but there it was. I liked Dexter, love lingerie and could have really liked this if it were just about Dexter and James. Instead, we've got a whole roster of characters and pairing talks from other books that just make this a longer read. Add in some inconsistencies and repetitive thoughts/statements from James and it just made this a struggle to finish. Rather than recruiting me into this series and the author's work, this read has put me off the idea of checking out any of their other work. Disappointing, because this one sounded so good going in.

Sometimes a story will live up to your hopes and expectations and leave your heart happy, and that was this book for me. I've been eager to read Dexter's story since he was introduced as Caleb's best friend and fiercest protector in "Undisclosed Desires" (Undisclosed series, Book 1) and his bubbly personality and high energy is perfectly matched to gruff but patient "grouchy bear" James. Their evolving relationship from standoffish neighbors to friends to lovers is a sweet, slow burn romance and heartfelt journey filled with self-discovery and acceptance on both sides. Add to that the storyline involving James's brother Spencer and, well, there's a reason I rated this 5 shining stars. Strong friendships are a cornerstone of the Undisclosed series, and it continues to be a crucial element here. The seamless crossover with characters from author Carly Marie's Finding Home series is also a fun aspect peppered across this series. I'd definitely encourage reading "Undisclosed Desires" ahead of this one to fully appreciate the many character connections, particularly Dexter and Caleb's special dynamic, and to a lesser extent "Undisclosed Curiosity" (Book 2)...plus, the whole series is fantastic so read them regardless. I've got my fingers crossed we'll get Larson's story soon because that man deserves some happiness and romance.

4.5* Undisclosed Attraction is the third book in the Undisclosed series by Carly Marie. This true grumpy / sunshine storyline features Dexter, who we met in book 1 of this series, and James. Dexter and James were a lot of fun to read, seeing characters pop-up and intermingling between the series, and of course Dexter's oversharing with his best friend Caleb was hilarious! Dexter had been the honorary caretaker to Caleb, who is a little, for so many years that he didn't realize he was in to fancy lingerie and lacy things until now. The sexy times while he was wearing lingerie were 🔥! James is incredibly gruff and guarded, but I loved how well done his character development was over the course of the book. He doesn't trust others because of terrible / lacking family relations and growing to trust in Dexter while making friends and reconnecting with a long lost brother is worth the read and super sweet. Would recommend!!

I grow more in love with series with every book. Ms Marie creates these wonderful characters that dig into your heart and find a home there. I want to be their BBF and hang out with them on Thursdays. I've waited for Dexter's story since I met him in Undisclosed Desire and it was better than I expected (and I expected a great story). He just cracked me up and of course we can't forget the Dodi tree. Dexter's big loveable personality is exactly what Mr Grumpy Bear James needed in his life. And James growth and struggle with his attraction to Dexter was done in such a way that you understood his struggles and never got annoyed by it (no annoying wishy washy). Their sexiness was kindle melting good. And I'm so glad James opened up his heart to let his family in. Now I want Larson to find his HEA, he breaks my heart everytime I read about him...hmm...maybe with Zanders 🤔

Another wonderful story. I have adored Dexter since Caleb’s book and couldn’t wait to see how he found his HEA. James has built a big wall around himself but from their first meeting Dexter just plows on through looking to make a new friend. I really enjoyed this story and how Dexter and James built their relationship, it started out slow once James realized what he wanted but they quickly got with the plan. I loved that Dexter gave James the strength to question what had happened with his brother and to find him. They built a solid relationship that we see farther down the road on the epilogue. I look forward to next book in the series and can’t wait to see who is next in this group of friends. I received a copy of this book and am giving an honest review

This book was just so good. You'll remember Dexter from Caleb and Travis' story. Dexter was so supportive of their relationship and this book gives us some of that from Dexter's perspective. Carly does such a good job of conveying Dexter's feelings of loss and his excitement at finding something new about himself. James is gruff and comes across as a jerk, but having a front row seat to his realization that he has feelings for a man and then experiencing the growing relationship between the two, feels so real and honest..as if you're friends with these two men in real life. This will be a book I re-read over and over again. It's just that good.

4.5* I have been waiting for Dex's book ever since we met him in Undisclosed Desires. That being said, this was a really great story where Grumpy James falls for the lovable and full of sunshine Dex. Things were slow to develop between the two of them, but who doesn't love a good slow burn? What I loved most was that when Dex discovered this new side of him and explored you felt his hesitancy at first, but the excitement of it as well. Old faces made made an appearance and it was lovely to see them all again. All in all it was worth the wait to see them get their HEA.

Dexter and James have a bit of tension in this story that turns into 🔥 a fiery passion and a sweet connection. There is a lot of heat, a bit of angst and a lot of fantastic written held within these pages. I had such a great time reading about these characters and their exploration of their attraction. I was able to read an advanced copy of this title and am reviewing voluntarily and honestly my own thoughts, opinion and reactions based on that copy.

Ugh these books and Carly Marie are just so. Dang. Good. I love all of her books that I've read, and I gotta say she's top three for me in favorite authors. I find myself rereading her books over and over for both comfort and laughs. I've loved seeing old characters pop up now and again, and I'm super excited about new books/ series too! But I'd really, really love an HEA for Larson, who may be my favorite supporting character ever at this point. The big softy needs someone special!!

The book was fabulous! Dexter is so snarky and sweet, and who doesn't like a guy in pretty things. I love how Dexter is a little pushy but he doesn't go overboard. He knows exactly what James needs. James is so guarded and reserved, and when you learn a little more about his family, you understand why. The acceptance of good friends is a beautiful thing! This whole series has been wonderful and I can't wait for even more to come out and all the guys to get their happy ending.

Nice heat that built, bisexual awakening, lace and laughter...Mild angst...just a great story!! It is a part of a series but absolutely can be read as a stand-alone. I do think you will enjoy it more if you read the series! I cannot wait for the next book!

I’ve loved this series since book one. Carly has done an amazing job with no only the interconnected characters within this series but the characters from other series within the same world. This book was H.O.T. and even with the slow burn, it was explosive. Woah. James and Dexter are perfect in so many ways: as individuals and as a couple. If you loved Dex in book 1 get ready for him to win you over now.

I loved James and Dexter. James is definitely grouchy but with Dexter's sweetness these two are the perfect couple . The storyline held my interest and had a great flow from the beginning. He book brought out a full range of emotions for me and never my tissue by the end. I have read both series and had a hard time keeping track of all the ancillary characters at times especially when they all got together.

This is so long awaited!!! I was so curious as to what dexter would be into and we got a peak in the last book about Dex and James being neighbors but this story is sooo so much more than I could have asked for. It’s so sexy and steamy. Also love bickering and the heat between the two of them. Getting to see dexter find his happy and also James find his power is so amazing. It’s a perfect book. Love love love it.

This one is fantastic!! Dexter is living in a duplex that he used to share with his best friend Caleb. Caleb moved out to be with his boyfriend Travis. Then James moved into the side where Caleb had lived. He is officer and very serious and straight. Or so he thought until met Dexter and accidentally sees him in his lace panties. You will love these characters & this series. The humor is fantastic!!

Carly Marie has written another bestseller! James and Dexter’s story is a slow burn that keeps you on the edge of your seat. I love that Caleb and Dexter’s friendship is a big part of the story and that we continue to learn more about their circle of friends! James develops from a Grouchy Bear into a Teddy Bear and his love for Dexter will melt your heart! Don’t delay diving into this new release!

Dexter and James are amazing. I adored the fact that Dexter is a tiny bit insecure around James. The fact that Dexter is so confident in almost every other aspect of his life, makes him that much more sweeter when he’s completely open. As for James. He truly is a grouch, but a grouch you can’t help but love and root for! I adored this book.

In the best of ways,Dexter was a bit of wrecking ball to James’s life when he moves next door. Their slowish burn was intense and HOT. Loved these characters so much. Grouchy bear and Menace were a match. It was cool to catch up with past characters from earlier in the series. I truly loved Dexter and James’s story.

Dexter finally gets his HEA!! I’ve been intrigued by Dexter since the first book in the series. He’s funny, quirky, and the best, most loyal friend anyone could ask for. Everyone should have a Dexter in their life! I enjoyed this slow burn bi-awakening love story and look forward to the next book in the series

I loved Dexter and fell hard for James once I realized why he was always so grouchy and standoffish! Dexter was sexy, and irreverent as ever and the satin and lace turned it up a whole lot of notches! Once he and James got their act together it was hot! This was a fun, sexy, and emotional read that I enjoyed immensely.

I love this world that Carly Marie has made for us. And this story is fantastic. I loved it and I loved seeing all of the guys as Dexter, Caleb's best friend finds love with his grumpy neighbor! Carly Marie is a one click for me. I hope we get a Landon and Zander story.

Dexter and James ended up with a great HEA. The talkative Dexter manages to reach the solitary and stoic James. James's past has left him avoiding getting close to anyone, but with Dexter he begins to trust and want family. This was a good book for a Sunday afternoon.

I'm writing this for the whole series - it's awesome. The characters are so wonderfuly real and unique. I fell for Dexter in the very first book - his love and devotion for Caleb (is best friend) was beautiful. I'm so glad he got his grouchy bear.

Sometimes when you read a ton of books like I do, it’s hard to remember the characters in a series. The characters that this author creates are so real and fleshed out that they come back to life completely in just a few pages. Great series.

As usual in a Carly Marie book this one has it all! Packed with emotions, feelings, lots of heat and a surprise or two. James and Dexter meet and Dexter is just taken with James who returns none of the interest. It takes awhile for Dexter to convince him!

I fell in love with Dexter in Desires and my love for him grew in this book...James is right up there with him. I adored every word of this book and will hopefully see more of them in futurebooks.

I jist love this series and her books. I have been waiting for this books since Cals came out and it didn't disappoint. There is so much humor and just good dialog and I love that in her books.

Dexter's story was everything it needed to be. I loved seeing him interact with Caleb, watching their friendship continue to grow and thrive. James, in all his grumpiness, was a fabulous person for Dexter to fall in love. They were perfect for each other. Of course, it's always fun to see the whole gang of friends get together. There is no secrets with these guys!

I love snarky men who own who they are. Dexter is the perfect fit for that title. Snarky, push, no filter but has a huge heart. James so withdrawn and grumpy. Not able to keep.a relationship and keeps people at bay. Hence the two meet as neighbors. Dexter lively personality hits James square in the jaw and through his grumpy game off. Dexter has a secret and James finds out and it and starts to wonder what if only draw back is James is straight? Right? Good story line. Finding family. Finding love.
