A violent father
A sadistic brother
An abusive mother
A psychopathic husband

No one heard her cries. From broken bones to murdered pets to violated innocence, Casey Jones endured countless atrocities as a child. Trapped in a world of unbearable cruelty, her mind shattered into alternate personalities, and she escaped into the arms of an angel. At age 20, she fled her torture chamber and found the strength to forge her way in the world, thriving as a flight attendant who entertained passengers with her in-flight songs and antics.
But later, a calculating predator impersonating a medical doctor pulled her into his snare. This smooth talking, charismatic psychopath thought he had everything under control. When she accidentally discovered his criminal background, she realized that the man she had married was pure evil. A cowardly predator determined to steal from Christian women. She had survived a childhood filled with demonic humans, only to marry one. While signing the divorce papers, she whispered in his ear “Think of me as your last victim”. This time she fought back…
Heart wrenching, hopeful and filled with humor, And the Angel Rocked Me gives a glimpse into childhood trauma and the breakthroughs that are possible for those who endure. This touching memoir includes insights for anyone who is in a relationship with a psychopath.

A Survivor's Story Well Worth Reading

Casey Jones is a survivor. And the Angel Rocked Me is ultimately a story of redemption and the author's ultimate triumph over her abusers. While the book is riveting and very well written, it was a difficult read for me because I was once very closely associated with Casey's family. I knew them all quite well and spent a great deal of time with all of them. I can confirm that Casey's depictions of her parents and siblings are completely accurate. I became involved with the Jones family during the years Casey was working as a flight attendant and didn't know her as well as I knew the rest of the family. However, having suffered my own abuse at the hands of her family members, every detail of her story rings true. Her story actually answered questions I'd had for decades and gave me the missing puzzle pieces to my own story with this family. I am grateful to Casey for being brave enough to write this book. I believe she survived so that she could tell her story and present her message of hope and triumph to victims of abuse and con artists everywhere. If you are a victim yourself or know someone who is, please read And the Angel Rocked Me. You will gain an understanding of the cycle and psychology of abuse from the perspective of the abused, the abuser, and those who protect abusers by looking the other way. This is a beautiful yet painful memoir of a childhood no one should ever have to experience and the woman who worked so hard to overcome her past by confronting that past head on, which in the end, is truly the only way to overcome a history of abuse.

God's Love Keep On Giving

Have you ever wondered what becomes of childhood victims of the horrific abuses that plague our "civilized" society? Instead of recounting over and over the atrocities and staying stuck in a prison of perpetual blame and helplessness, one brave woman decidedly took the hard road less traveled and gratefully received God's penetrating love to become well. And not only well, but began a mission to lead others in similar circumstances, out of lives permeated with denial and silence. Casey Jones also found that by choosing to forgive and pray for her enemies (mostly in her own family) that she herself experienced deeper levels of trust and emotional healing. As a victim advocate, educator and prayer minister, I know that it is extremely rare for those who suffer devastating betrayal in such an intimate way to seek help facing the Giants (lies) and the Programming Manipulator/Takers. Loving the truth brings healing. Though you might not have survived victimization yourself, it is likely that you have people that you care about in your life who have. You need this excellent book. Buy it now. Prepare to help them. Though it is difficult to read this sweet child's story, keep going. The last part of And The Angel Rocked Me details ways to touch others in need. Be Brave Yourself. Valerie Harvey Family Studies B.S., Special Education M.A.

She is a Survivor!

The fact that Casey Jones is even alive is nothing short of a miracle! As the book chronicles the evil she endured for years as a child, the amazing coping skills given to her by a loving God in the form of a psyche fragmented into many alternative personalities are simply awesome. And as she grew to adulthood and the poor life choices she made as a result of the childhood abuse, God gave her extraordinary strength to combat the trials she endured and to even tell others to prevent predators from taking advantage of others. Her life amazes me!

Inspiring

I’ve known Casey for close to 60 years give or take. Her story is a moving tearful story of abuse and torture. I’m saddened by the fact I spent quite a few nights at her house and never dreamed of her monstrous abuse. I dearly wish I’d figured it out and been able to intervene for her safety. A quiet child that has survived and conquered with Gods help. I’m happy to say she’s a strong happy woman today and pray she has a wonderful life she so richly deserves

Excellent book!

This is an excellent book, great insight into the dynamic of a person with multiple personalities. I’ve read many books on this subject and this is by far one of the best. It was a fast read because it’s hard to put down once you start reading it.

Casey experienced such a dark period of her life as her book explains it all! It's been said that THE LORD only puts as much You as you can bare but, this is a untruth because THE LORD puts more on you than you can bare so that you will depend on Him More! I've know Casey for many years having worked with her on many trips. I never knew about the pain she suffered for such a long period of her life! Her Faith in GOD is what got her through this horrific period of her life. Her book is riveting as you can't put it down. Thank You Casey for sharing and for letting us all in. May THE LORD continue to Bless You, Heal You and Protect You Always...

I met Casey years ago through the airlines-we had worked together. She seemed to have it all together . I had no idea of the pain she was in,or the horrendous past she had endured. I couldn't put the book down. I did cringe while reading some of the pages, feeling such pain for her. I am so happy Casey has come through that life into a new and fulfilled one. Her faith and hope is surely a testimonial to us all. I have contacted her, and do hope to speak with her in person someday. What an amazing woman. I admire her and her inner strength. Fondly, Eileen Joy

Amazing story of Overcoming!

Casey has done a lot of work in her life to come to this book with a testimony of healing. Thank you for sharing, thank you for being brave. I've also had an abusive childhood, so your life story rings truth to mine. Thank you again.

I simply could not put it down! With an expert sense of pacing and structure, Jones guides her readers on a harrowing, thought-prvoking journey into a past riddled with intimate betrayals. You will experience concern, fear, outrage, anger, sorrow, curiosity and then be suddenly surprised by Jones delightful sense of humor, insight and resilience of spirit. This book will stay in your heart long after you finish reading. An important book that touches upon a subject few are willing to delve into, Multiple Personality Disorder. Jones earns every one of five stars. Be ready to stay up late reading "And the Angel Rocked Me."

No one should have to live this way but what the Devil meant for evil, God meant for good. Ms Jones writes from experience and gives good information on how to avoid these pitfalls. I thought the book would be hard to read, too graphic, but it is tastefully done and I appreciate her sharing how her loving God was with her at all times.

This story is a look at a black part of our society and the positive that CAN come out of it for a strong willed person who didn't let herself be over ran by evil. It shows that we don't know what our influence can be to other people ,especially children. A few positive relatives did give her tools to work with for a better future. Casey has managed to show us some insight into the psychological part of life as well as the spiritual side. When you read the book, please, read to the end to get the complete impact of her story.

Riveting!

I could not put this book down. This is a very well written book about a life full of tragedy and triumph over seemingly insurmountable obstacles. As horrific as her abuse has been I found this book amazingly life-affirming and positive. Casey is gifted with tremendous strength and her life story is something with which one can glean helpful insight.

This was a very well written book. And also a very eye opener of what some children goes through. I cried and also felt like I would have wanted to been there to have held the child. I can read this book more than once and still have a different view.

Oh my goodness!!!

Can I just say... you are an amazing writer and storyteller!!! One day I hope to read this to my own children and make them laugh at the funny memories that made me laugh. Your book was amazing Casey! I will continue to re-read it and re-read it from time to time. You are such an amazing Woman of God! Don't let anyone tell you otherwise! -Ariel Age: 18

Everyone should read this book!

I could not put this book down. I wish it wasn't a true story, for no one should ever have to endure what Casey did in her life! If you ever wanted to learn more about multiple personalities, bravery, miracles, and strength then you "must read" this book!

Everyone should read

Enough can't be said to the wonderment that Casey has come through all her ordeals...from a young child on into her adulthood.. Her story is absolutely exasperating. I highly recommend that everyone read it. It could possibly help someone you know or be of help to yourself.

It broke my heart.

I grew up about a half mile from Art's ranch and was on the ranch a few times. I even rode Casey's little horse. Her book is riveting and heart breaking to know she or anyone could go through so much. Yet, it is encouraging knowing one can come through such and be a precious caring and wonderful person it is obvious she has become.. It gives hope that others, also, who have been through horrors can come out on the other side as whole persons in spite of the scars. I don't know Casey yet, I came to love Casey like a sister through her book and grieve for her loss of so many years. I am going to share her book with ladies I know who have had a difficult childhood or adulthood in hopes they will find hope and healing through her sharing her story. I highly recommend her book to anyone who has the courage to face some of the ugliness of evil in our world or wants to help someone who has experienced it. She tells the story of her live in a compelling way without to many details yet enough that you can understand the heartbreaking experiences of a young girl who was not properly protected by those closest to her.

Wow! What a book. I went to school ...

Wow! What a book. I went to school with Casey and had no idea what she went through as a child. What she endured growing up should not happen to anyone. The way she turned her life around and has been able to help other people is truly remarkable. A must read. I could not put the book down!

And this book rocked me!

Although fragmented by years of abuse, the author pulled herself together and tells her story very well. Her book is unlike any I've ever read; it opened my eyes to abuse I never knew existed. May she find peace.

Prepare for a walk through a place you have never been.

A very well written account of a life lived by a young girl simply trying to exist in a situation the majority of readers will have difficulty understanding. Very few people have lived in a situation of total deprivation. As I read this book, I continuously was confronted with the question, “how would I have survived if I were in her situation?” A very interesting read, one that will draw the reader into each page. The times I thought how much worse could it become? The author has the gift of, almost surgically taking apart situations too horrific to read, and communicate her feelings in a way that you can understand her situation without being sickened. Gripping, mesmerizing, revolting, exhilarating yet exhausting. Be prepared to experience the vast chasm which emotions can draw us into, yet on the next page be lifted to heights never thought of. Purchasing this book will find you in a world of thought you have never considered.

I’ve known Casey for close to 60 years give or take. Her story is a moving tearful story of abuse and torture. A Book About Miracles, Persistance, Empowerment, and Resources. A Book that Leaves One Speechless...

This book had to be written. It is a testimony about the power of God‘s love and the strength and inner light of Casey who overcame darkness from its deepest pits. Today, she shares her light, inner and outer beauty, and generosity with all who surround her. The book also serves as a reminder that violence and manipulation can come from those who are supposed to provide healthy and unconditional love, from those, who are supposed to provide a safe haven for their children. Besides serving as a reminder to be alert when it comes to the protection of children, the book also serves as a resource to people who are in bad relationships and to people who deal with multiple personalities. It also helps with other issues related to abuse.

And The Angels Rocked Me

Casey’s life is one of victory against all odds! Her book has encouraged me that no matter how horrific your past or how bad your current circumstances; God can and will redeem. I poured tears as I read how she was rocked and comforted during the worst times of her abuse. To know that the angels of the Lord are encamped around the suffering is so beautiful. God does give beauty for ashes and gladness for mourning. Not only could I not put her book down and read it in one sitting; she has also freely offered her friendship to me in real life. She has prayed with me, encouraged me, and been a true friend. Her courage gives me strength. I absolutely recommend this book. It gives understanding and the more we understand, the more we can bless and help those who suffer under abuse. We need to open our eyes to those around us and see past the disguises to what is really going on. We need to rise up and be our brothers and sisters keeper!

A true story of unimaginable pain, and unimaginable victory!

A contemporary of Casey's, growing up in the small Eastern New Mexico community of Portales, I started "And The Angel Rocked Me..." with some hesitation. I knew Casey had grown up through some serious trials and pain. I wasn't sure I was ready to climb in there with her. I had no idea. Waiting for the book to arrive, I had been thinking back to our childhood in that seemingly serene hometown place. Then, in the pit of my stomach being reminded that this little girl I remembered as mysterious, had been living in hell, and I, nor any of her peers knew. When you're that young, and life seems like one big carefree adventure, who would think of such things? The book sat on my end table for two days before I started actually reading it. I repeatedly picked it up, flipped through a few pages, and put it down again, because it was about Casey and I had a feeling it might be hard to read. Finally, I started reading. Once I did I couldn't stop until I realized it was after 5:00 a.m. I had been reading all night. The experience was something else. I felt like I had been reading Casey's personal journal and a suspense or crime story at the same time. Casey was both the victim and the "good guy". As I read along I kept waiting for justice to triumph and the "bad guys" to die. In the end I had peace about Casey's victory, and some pain to go with hers. It was troubling to remember that while my young life was what it was, Casey's and many other's, wasn't. My work life was spent in the mental health and corrections fields. I 'saw', so to speak, many people I have known in the pages of "And The Angel Rocked Me...". Believe me, while this is the story of Casey Jones' indomitable spirit persevering through her relationship with help of the Spirit of God, it is more than that. Her story is relevant to all times because evil has always been among us. It is especially relevant to now because evil is more blatantly showing itself. Casey's story can help us see it for what it is, and deal with it. Peace, Casey.

An Incredible Story

I read this book because Casey is a friend from years ago when we worked together. I have to admit, I am not a reader...would rather be working with my hands, or talking! However, I couldn't put this book down. Even my husband commented, "That must be good, you NEVER read!" While it was hard to read about the sides of my friend I had not known about, hers is an incredible story that speaks to how absolutely amazing she truly is. Casey has suffered more in her lifetime than most of us will ever have to. I cannot imagine the pain she must have gone through just writing her story. In doing so, hopefully she has not only helped those who have experienced similar situations, but has opened the eyes of those of us who haven't into better understanding the road we have never had to walk.

The Angel Rocked ME !!

"The Angel Rocked Me" is one of the most incredible dbooks I have ever read. I must say, however, I put it down several times-unable to bear reading about the pain I saw written on the pages. You se, Casey is my FRIEND. We met in 1992 during our mutual time on " disability" with United Airlines. Casey called me for information on getting through the process and we became instant friends. Eventually, she opened up about her life and the painful process she was going through. I remember her finding herself locked in the closet of her house, moving to the basement and seeing Jesus in the curtains. It was all very surreal to me. We occasionally had smoking/ drinking fests over conversations around her therapy, as well. I have, UNTIL doing some of my own research, questioned some of the claims Casey made, but as I look back, I have seen her in different personality forms. I just thought she was a nutty funny lady !! I used to sell real estate and often lived vicariously through Casey as SHE achieved my dream of leveraging, buying properties and turning them into rentals and the like. It was amazing that she could do all that, given her mental and physical pain... When she married Jeff .. particularly after I saw a photo of them together, I did not have a good feeling. They did NOT look like a " good couple" but lots of people are like that. Gradually she told me that he seemed never to get paid for his speaking engagements ... It was so painful to see this intelligent woman going through this hideous loss. But AGAIN Casey did it. She ONLY relied on Christ to get her through. I could hardly stand to see her house of cards falling . I am also a Christian, but could not believe her total FAITH and trust in God to get her from day to day. She quoted and lived by two of my favorite passages in the Bible : Psalm 91 and Mat. 6:24-34. I have not seen Casey in some time, but when we frequently talk, I can hear a complete change in her voice and demeanor. My worry that this would dredge up old things and would destroy her were wiped away. she seems to have healed much of her pain via writing this book !! She finally sounds and seems to be a woman at peace with her life. I strongly recommend this book . May God Bless you, Always, Casey, the SURVIVOR ! Katie

A Brilliant and Thoroughly Gripping Personal Account of Incestuous Rape Leading to Multiple Personality Disorder

Casey' s strong spiritual life springs forth as she skillfully weaves her engaging personal account of a painful childhood with reliance on her great faith in God. She narrates her tale as a third person observer of her tragic childhood marked with incestuous rape by her brother, a mother whose own pain was so great that she couldn't admit what was happening, and a dad whose zipper was always down for every woman in town. As happens so often to those who grow accustomed to psychotic behavior in childhood, in mid-life Casey married a psychotic, a man who left her fighting homelessness and trying to stop his victimization of others. Casey's courageous candor in telling her own true life tale, so that others could benefit from her story is commendable. She has an amazing ability to tell her tale in a manner that allows readers to see themselves in her story and unravel some of the dysfunction in their own life stories. Faced with the challenge of portraying her story, Casey handled her craft like a true survivor with wit, wisdom, and the faith of one whose staunch reliance on Our Creator carried her through. And the Angel Rocked Me is an excellent read that is impossible to put down, in addition to being an excellent source book for psychologists and those from dysfunctional families.

Saved by God

This is an amazing book and definitely one that anyone with multiple personality should read. It describes the unbelievably, brutal abuse of a child, over many years and the way in which her mind splintered into many different personalities as a result. The abuse was so horrifying that the only way in which her mind could cope, was to adapt in this way. Casey Jones developed multiple personality disorder because she experienced the kind of abuse many of us couldn't imagine, let alone survive, but survive she has. This memoir is inspirational because Casey has come through all of her abuse in life and has also had the courage to write about her experiences, shared them with us, and in doing so she helps others who have the same disorder and are still healing. I found her book very courageous and also insightful into the effects which child abuse has on the human mind. Casey's belief in God is what saves her, and her own personal, inner strength. One of the most powerful parts of this book for me, is when she realises that all of her suffering in life has brought her back to God. This is definitely a book for anyone who has been abused as a child and/or as an adult.

No one should have to go through this pain

I read this book on a recent flight, and I normally am the type to sleep on a flight, so you KNOW the book had to hold my attention for me to read for the WHOLE FLIGHT. The pain and suffering that Casey went through is something that on person should ever have to go through . . . but as she points out in her book, so many do. I think that this book shows that more people DO need to speak out and not keep silent and allow evil to win. Casey a colorful woman who has learned to rise from the ashes of her past. She uses her knowledge, personal experience and wonderful sense of humor to help others to look for the strength within themselves, and when they do not think they can find that strength, Casey is there to show them the way. Her life, and the organization that she created, Women Against Con Men (WAC-M) demonstrate how a victim can become a victim's advocate.

Casey Jones writes down the bones in her book "And the Angel Rocked Me."

I give Casey Jones, author of "And the Angel Rocked Me" five stars, everyone one of them for what Natalie Goldberg says we must do as writers and that is to write down the bones. Casey writes freely and honestly of the atrocities inflicted on her from the age of four to thirteen by an older brother as her mother and father knowingly ignored them. The repeated beatings and rapes caused Casey to form multiple personalities to survive. An angel appears to Casey in her darkest moments, comforting her and Casey knows the angel is sent from God. Casey's Christian faith, a few good friends, and a therapist support her as she unravels her past and uses her pain and suffering to write a book that will help others understand more about multiple personalities. Casey's book was difficult to read because it was true. The prologue grabs the reader and Casey's use of humor allows the reader to laugh even while crying for the little girl's pain, and the continued pain Casey experiences married to a con-man who leaves her broke and homeless. God blesses Casey with the will to fight evil and write a book that will educate others about multiple personalities as well as con-men and remind them to "Pray not for an easy life but for a joyful one."

God's Angels prevailed!

I found this book riveting. I could not put it down. I could hear the cries of the abused child, felt the physical, mental, emotional and sexual abuse. I strongly felt that the author was sharing her life even through her marriage with a con-man. She has sought out justice with the faulty judicial system and their lack of support even though they deal with these crimes daily. She has acquired some justice even though there is an ongoing knowledge that her con-man has been set free and has 'NOT' been held accountable for all the wrongs he has committed. Also, even though this book does not read like a novel, it is extremely informative to those who have been sexually abused. The author even portrayed her wonderful sense of humor with delightful anecdotes throughout the book. We need to look beyond the trauma and see that the author is truly the victor in such a time when the subject she discussed runs rampant in our world! God bless you Casey Jones in all of His ways, PEACE!

Had me wondering ok what will happen next and I could not put the Book down. There are a lot of emotions that I experience and as a woman felt bad for Casey. A Story that Will Rock You!!!

"And The Angel Rocked Me" is a Must Read for anyone who has been through Child Abuse or been Conned by someone. This book is a look into the life of a Woman who overcame the Evil that Satan brought into the World of a "CHILD". Then as an Adult she was tried and tested again by a Con Man who took her for everything she had accumulated in life. She is a Survivor and this book is an Encouragement to us to Keep the Faith, be Strong, and NOT give Up. As a Friend and Neighbor of Casey I saw first hand week by week the Task and the Effects of having to Relive the Pain and all of the Suffering she has been through as a Child and Adult. Casey was, and still is, on a Mission to share her story with others with the Hope to point us all in the direction of God our Heavenly Father. Her Faith is evident in her commitment to helping others...

Casey exposes the dark truth of abuse

Casey has a special way to tell a heart wrenching story. With grace she tells of the pain she endured both physically and mentally. The book pulls you in. You can not believe what you are reading. No way one human could be that cruel, especially to a small innocent child. Then as an adult it happens again! It is a must read!!

This is a book that everyone should read.

I read this book in one sitting! I could not put it down! This has to be one of the best books I have ever read. This book made me realize that no matter how great someone looks on the surface, we never know what they are going through. We can never be empathetic enough to the people we meet. The story is so well written that if you pick it up you will not put it down till you are finished. Casey artfully wove humor, dispair, and hope into a story that needs to be told. It is not only a story of darkness but of light and survival . I have read memoirs written by people who seem to be singing their own praises and strength. Casey just tells her story and the reader is able to see her faith and strength through her difficult times without her having to toot her own horn.

A Review of the Book "And the Angel Rocked Me"

A review of the book, “And the Angel Rocked Me” Once in a blue moon something will trigger a powerful, deep maternal instinct within me. It's like an awakening, animal-like, ferocious. Reading the book “And the Angel Rocked me” by Casey Jones, did that for me. I wanted to go back in time and protect the little child she was with all my heart and soul, and to tell off those who complacently stood by and allowed such atrocities to happen. She has suffered some of the worst injustices I've ever heard of. It's a classic example of total apathy and a lack a of conscience to the point of those who stood by doing nothing are extremely sick indeed. No one should have to be afraid or kept from telling the truth. When the truth surfaces, even if telling it was one of the hardest things a person ever had to do, light can then shine into it, issues can be dealt with, healing can take place, knowledge can be gleaned from it, and it can awaken us out of complacency ourselves. The story also can make us more aware. Casey's willingness to come forward and tell her story must take an enormous amount of courage. I am in awe of her courage! Personally, I find her brother's behavior to be purely satanic; he is my idea of the true meaning of possessed. Casey's book reminds me of something an angel once told me when I was going through a situation of my own in which I was in a battle with the darkness: “Open it up. When you open it up it loses it's power.” By virtue of Casey being brave enough to tell her story means that another corner of darkness has light shining it it, and the darkness has lost some more of it's power. We can learn from her and her experience and realize that we can do something in the present. Don't make it easy for psychopaths, make it so difficult for them that not only will they leave you alone, but they may have no choice but to straighten up their acts. Any pastor, like the one in the book, who talks to anyone like he did to Casey should be reprimanded by other clergy, as he was behaving completely non-pastoral! I find him not so much as having an opinion but as a vicious verbal attack. We expect pastors to be people we can trust, confide in, be consoled by, so when someone behaves like he did I would imagine that it would catch a person unawares and unprepared for battle. I find Casey's book to be well written and has some very important messages for the rest of the world and I think it is high time we listened. I learned a lot from and appreciated very much all her research, too. It has been my observation that those who go through some of the most horrific experiences have also been some of the most blessed people, too. Why is that? Perhaps they are marked because they are blessed? Perhaps, also, it is to show us that after we've fought every battle until we are finally broken, and struggled in every avenue, that God is our only true hope? By Liv Johnson, November 2013

Love this book

I've had this book for about 3 years and I loved it, and it's not like all the other books that I've read, this book is telling a true story not something made up and it helps alot because I was abused and reading it proves to me that anyone can make it in the real world. I let my friend borrow my book and she loved it I'm not sure if she has one but if she doesn't i know after I tell her it's on here shell definitely buy one!

This book will "rock your world"!

A voice for many that may not have been heard, Casey Jones is a Champion encouraging us to "Speak up!". Reading "And the Angel Rocked Me" awakens us to become even more sensitive to defend the helpless, offering rescue and refuge from the atrocities of evil operating covertly in our own communities. We all have differing spiritual perspectives regarding explanation of "why" evil operates in this earth. Apparently, the unfailing Love Who Casey found at an early age, ultimately kept her from drowning in a horrific cesspool of other's non-involvement. This writing encourages us to boldly inquire of, defend, and arrest dysfunction within our reach. I will never again see an individual, seemingly "lost in the crowd" without being sensitive to what could transpire "behind closed doors". Having read "And the Angel Rocked Me", I am challenged to no longer allow apathy to induce a lazy slumber. For those suffering from abuse, who cannot cry for help, this book will "rock your world" to merciful action on their behalf!

A Valuable Read

This memoir is a combination of horror and faith. It guides the reader through the dark shadows of incest and family "cover up". Yet the writer displays an amazing resilience and faith. It makes one think of the character and strength of others like Anne Frank who managed to keep their courage and faith amid unspeakable horror. Casey Jones chronicles her terrifying journey with the angel who comforted her there to give her the comfort which her family did not. What an amazing book. It isn't easy to read, but it is a valuable read.

This book was a Godsend to me. I have read alot of DID books and this one gave me a new insight and one of the best books i've read.

This book was very similar to my story. It was easy to read and I read it in 1 night!!! There is not one thing is disliked about this book. Thank you so much.

May THE LORD continue to Bless You, Heal You and Protect You Always...

...and Casey's experiences and faith rocked me!

I thought the book would be hard to read, too graphic, but it is tastefully done and I appreciate her sharing how her loving God was with her at all times.

a powerful message

I just finished reading And the Angel Rocked Me. Wow! What a compelling story of her courageous battle against extreme evil! Her FAITH and TOTAL TRUST in GOD enabled her to not only endure the mental and physical abuse but come out a SURVIVOR. This book is a must read! I'm extremely proud of Casey for being able to share her story in hope that it could help others who have gone through any form of abuse. What a honor it is to know this brave woman! Great job Casey! You DESERVE great things!

Love women with COURAGE!!!

I know Casey personally, she is an incredible person and I am totally amazed that she came out of this horrific childhood with a gift for creativity. She is so inspiring to me and others. Casey gives me hope just knowing her as a person, she relies totally on her faith to walk with God and to confront all the evil that is still in this world. I ..... like so many others.....read the book in a matter of a few hours, I COULD NOT put it down.....WOW, it captivated me.

Essential for parents and females old enough to read

And the Angel Rocked Me is about the author's sexual abuse that began at age 4, and continued until she left home at 18. It's a miracle that the author is not only alive, but thriving. The author's riveting account is an inspiring guide to survival of every female's worst nightmare. This book is an enormous aid to humanity and to the well-being of both females and males. It is essential reading for parents, and required reading for every female old enough to read.

The author writes a powerful narrative about her life and the ordeals she has endured. She is remarkable to have lived through these experiences with the trials and tribulations she has suffered and has survived to prevail in her life. This is truly a worthy read for those who wish to better understand another dimension of many who are among us and trying to cope with unfortunate circumstances that life may present.

And the hidden is revealed

A friend suggested I read Casey's book. I believe everyone who desires an understanding of of how one can survive the depth of cruelty that can befall a person needs to read "And The Angel Rocked Me: A Memoir of a Multiple Personality." Casey did not sugar coat her life or the lives of those to whom she was entrusted. She reveals the hidden atrocities committed against her from early childhood through adulthood and how her life was impacted by them. It is more than the average person can conceive but then the people committing the atrocities were not average...out of it all comes a woman who is victorious over evil...was the path to victory easy? Heavens, no! But, victorious she is! This is an excellent read but be advised, it isn't an easy read...it is however compelling.

It's sad to know that he is still as sick as ...

What courage it must have taken for Casey to write this book! Just facing the memories had to be overwhelming. I read it in one sitting because I too was married to that same con man several years ago. It's sad to know that he is still as sick as ever and never got help. Hopefully many victims will be delivered after reading this book. Casey is an amazing champion of victims everywhere and a true beacon of light from God.

This book gives a lot of insight into the world of a person with MPD

I started reading the book to learn more about Casey Jones and what her life must have been like as a child. I never imagined what would happen next. I wholeheartedly recommend And The Angel Rocked Me to anyone wanting to know how God works in their lives even through unspeakable circumstances.

horror childhood

It is almost unbelievable how parents can be so cruel in what they do to their children. I had to put the book down a few times early in the book, as it was too hard to take emotionally. It is the end of innocents when children are subjected to these abuses. The book was very well written and everything was true. The unbelievable happened.

Inspirational !

"And the Angel Rocked me" brought me to tears. Reading Casey's heart breaking story was difficult but inspirational, her strength and courage has helped me through my own difficult journey. It is good to know that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. An excellent read...... ( keep Kleenex handy) ;-) C.Marts

"And the Angel Rocked Me" is totally Riveting!

This is the story of not just one woman, but a story that so many victims can relate to. Reading this book helps me to realize that even though there are predators lurking among us, and preying on children, a person can survive unthinkable acts and go on and thrive. Casey Jones is a testament to strong faith and the will to live. Hurrah for her spirit and her deep faith!

A powerful story and message

It was hard to put this book down. The author has been through unimaginable horror, but her faith and strength shine through. The image of the angel rocking her as she witnessed her own abuse is particularly moving. I'm grateful Casey is a survivor, grateful that she is able to help others through her faith and experiences.

A Must Read

This is at times a hard book to read, but it is a must read. Casey has put her life in hell out in front for all to read praying that it will help others that might be going through or have been through what she lived.

Loved it.

As a fellow survivor I am always in awe of other survivors who have not only survived but are thriving. Casey is a beautiful soul who is extremely courageous and I applaud her on her courage to share her story unvarnished and boldly. Well done Casey.

Great work Casey!

And The Angel Rocked Me is a brave candid look into the life of Casey Jones. The work and depth of passion Casey shows is absolutely incredible. If you enjoy the passion, survival, triumph and wining against the odds, this is a must read. You'll love it!

Heart breaking

This book, in my opinion is so touching and heart breaking. I could not put the book down, even though I cried. This girl went through a lot and my heart breaks for her, she has come so far and I think the best is yet to come, awesome book.

Compelling Read

This author has told a personal story so compelling it will be hard to put the book down. It is very difficult to read at times and realize difficulties she has lived through. But she has survived and triumphed. A good read!

Five Stars

AMAZING!

WOW!

This book was amazing but so heart wrenching that I often had to put it down. Being a counselor, I was surprised at the information about Psychopaths that I did not know. Ms. Jones is a brave and incredible woman. A must read!

Compelling and VERY Frightening story

I just finished this book and couldn't put it down. It really opened my eyes to things that can occur within families! Having daughters myself, it was unimaginable what this poor girl was subjected to and that her parents didn't come to her aid. Very well written and a compelling yet disturbing story. I highly recommend it!!

Heartfelt material

This book is written from the heart. The hardship that Casey went through for so many years and her ability to fight her way through makes for a compelling story.

Author's triumph over abusive and toxic relationships

RUBEN

Casey experienced such a dark period of her life as her book explains it all! It's been said that THE LORD only puts as much You as you can bare but, this is a untruth because THE LORD puts more on you than you can bare so that you will depend on Him More! I've know Casey for many years having worked with her on many trips. I never knew about the pain she suffered for such a long period of her life! Her Faith in GOD is what got her through this horrific period of her life. Her book is riveting as you can't put it down. Thank You Casey for sharing and for letting us all in. May THE LORD continue to Bless You, Heal You and Protect You Always...

...and Casey's experiences and faith rocked me!
