Awesome series

I was so excited when I saw a new book. I couldn't recall which one I left off on but after quick review I started "A Woman Complete." I love how these two have grown together with each other. The expanding family and all the drama surrounding them. Thank you for bringing them to life.

Fascinating

Sometimes to fix something broken, it is best to start all over again and this is what Lizzie did. Happy wife happy life, I do not see this, since Lisa found Delores. Family of four sounds great, ask Sarah. Good and interesting read.

Fabulous Book

OMG i just loved this book. I loved how Lizzie finally had a job that she loved again and was still able to be with a lot of her family and friends. I loved this whole series and i would recommend it to anyone.

Awesome series

This book as well as the whole series is one of my all-time favorites. I am sad that I will not be able to read any more in this series. This book was a perfect end. Hats off and congratulations for a job well done.

I DO NOT WANT THIS LIZZIE AND SARAH SERIES TO END...

I've loved this series from the beginning. In fact I'm considering reading them all AGAIN. TB is my favorite author, by far. She has great humor in her stories and wonderful loving characters.

Great read

This book was a great ending to a woman lost series. This one will again take you through all kinds of emotions. I love the characters and how they evolved throughout the series. Lizzie and her family are amazing and entertaining. If you liked the rest you will really enjoy this one. If you haven’t read any start at the beginning and they are fast reads. I started about the series about 1 month ago and they are all great reads.

Great series

This series is one of my favorite. I enjoyed this last book in the series but was sad that this was the end. I loved Lizzie, Sarah and Maddie. They are very distinct characters. Thanks for writing such an amazing and entertaining series.

A Series Complete

Seldom have I finished a series of books, and felt closure between the reader and characters. TB Markinson has outdone herself on this series! It is by far one of my favorites! I enjoyed all of the Lizzie & Sarah books, and though I am sad to see them come to an end, and wouldn’t mind a peek in their lives down the road, I finished the series with a sense of completion - this is definitely a Series Complete!

A fabulous ending to a fabulous series

The story of Lizzie and Sarah will melt your heart. Sarah is the glue that holds Lizzie together, and Lizzie is the heartbeat of the family. TB Markinson’s stories are always well thought out with great plots and amazing characters development. Can’t wait for the next series.

An enjoyable series

I chose the rating because I thoroughly enjoyed following the Petries through their mayhem and love story. Loved the sit and chemistry between Sarah and Lizzie.

Family means so much more than the people who birthed you.

Lizzie has become a woman whose life and family have made my heart full. I have laughed hard, cried often and loved watching her grow. Sarah has been a loving gem in such a beautiful relationship. Their dialogue and banter are just priceless. The experiences and downright anxious moment in this story are filled with Lizzies charm and witisms. I certainly wanted that Aweful secretary for the history department to get educated. The lack of morals the Professor lived I hope were exposed when Lizzie took a better job. I don't know how I felt about them moving but I am certainly sad that this is the last book. I have loved every moment with Lizzie, Sarah, Maddie, the kids and the larger than life family. This book is such a brilliant end to a magical series and Completes so very Lizzie's world. Thank you T.B. Markinson for a series that is inspiring, funny and so very family centered by an eclectic genius. I loved this book so much.

WOW!

Everything around Lizzie is falling apart and her past is coming back to haunt her. Despite all those nasty entanglements, there are plenty of fun things happening around Lizzie too. Readers, be prepared for this vertiginous and fascinating roller coaster of Lizzie's life. A Woman Complete is the final book in A Woman Lost series. A series I really enjoyed. It’s family centered, where friendship is important and communication is key. I felt really connected with the characters and what they were going through. As in all the books in this series, the banter and the dialogue are very amusing. Now I'm going to miss all the characters.

A Series Complete

Wow--what an accomplishment--this was such a great series, from start to finish. Avoiding spoilers, I will say there is some reconciling that happens, but not before more demonstrations of Lizzie's endurance, strength, and wisdom. Some very intriguing and relevant aspects to some of the challenges, and more overlap with Miracle Girl, which was pertinent. Except for Darrell. Again. Pretty happy with most of the resolutions by the end of the book, and can only hope in the fictional universe future that Lizzie's friends and extended family find time to finally grow the heck up, because, really. Overall, the storytelling has been incredible--full of hope and courage, balanced in love and humor. It's a must read, repeatedly.

Brilliant series

I was fortunate enough to read the entire series ... from Book 0 - 7. An exquisite journey of a fragile woman who found her strength to embrace love in all of its forms ... wife, children, friends, and finally ... family. I heartily and unequivocally and enthusiastically recommend this series and any other works by this author. The characters were honest and relatable. I would, however, like to have seen more as I would love to know how Casey grew up and how she took on the world. She’s an amazing and inspiring character. Thank you. Peace

How crazy mixed up family

This is a book about Lizzie and her family. Lucy has a history professor in along with her wife Sarah have four children plus they adopted another. The plot revolves around Lizzie and her troubles plus how she tries to fix everybody else’s troubles. It is a wonderful comforting book and the characters are wonderful and very heartwarming. I recommend this book For all who like family love and drama.

Excellent read, Wonderful end to a great series.

This is a wonderful ending to the “A Woman Lost” series. When the world throws you lemons, make lemonade. Lizzie has just about learned that holding secrets hurts her family she has also learned that you can choose your family and she is happy with her choices. The ending was not exactly what I was expecting but I was delighted with it. Thank you TB for a great read to end this series!

just so good, spectacular

TB is one of my most favored authors. Her heartfelt, sexy and humorous books just really make my heart go WOW! I have so enjoyed all of the Lizzie books and to know that this is the last book, I couldn't help but feel sad. But, having said that...this is a great book and series. I encourage everyone to start at the prequel and read them in order. Support this author. She is just marvelous!!!!

Excellent conclusion!

I just love these characters, their quirks and relationships to one another. Every one of the books in this series has been hard to put down. I have truly enjoyed seeing the personal growth Lizzy has gone through, as well as the growth of her relationship with Sarah and their ever-expanding family!

Petrie Clan

Lizzie's life never seems to get easier. As the family grows, everyone is turning to Lizzie to help them. Her past comes back to haunt her. Sarah is always by her side to help. The love they have for each other gets stronger in each book. T.B. Markinson created a masterpiece with this series.

Finally finished

T.B., This series was amazing. The love between Lizzie and Sarah was awesome. I want everyone to find a relationship like that. I cannot wait to get into some more of your books. Thanks for being such a great writer.

Stop what you are doing and read this entire series, stat!

I love Lizzie and fell in love with her immediately. When I realized Lizzie had entire series dedicated to her life, adventures, very sexy love story and freaking amazing cast of characters around her I honestly jumped with joy. If you love romantic fiction, even if you are not a lesbian, this entire series will make you smile, cry, laugh and fall in love over and over. From her best friend to her awful mother and dysfunctional brother plus neighbors and new family members - on top of her incredible wife and kids. This was a beautiful end to the Lizzie series and I cannot wait to read them all over again from the start. So so so much love for this series!

Just perfect!

What a beautiful and satisfying conclusion to this brilliant series. Filled with all the love and crazies the Petrie family has to offer, TB Markinson pours her heart and soul into this final book to give her readers the special ending we could only hope for. Oh how much their relationships grew and deepened along the way. I will definitely miss Lizzie, Sarah and their gang, but as an avid follower of TB, I don't think she could have given any more of herself to this remarkable series. Thank you so very much, TB, now on to a new chapter in your life with many more great books to come!

A Fitting End

It is very sad to be saying goodbye to this cast of characters. You really grow to love them over the course of the series. Like family you are sometimes disappointed in them or even angry with them, but you love them. Lizzie has really grown through the course of the stories. Sarah is the best person for Lizzie. She understands and accepts her like no one else. I have started the series from the beginning and I highly recommend it. I hope to see a spin off of some of the supporting characters.

Say it isn't so, there's no more Lizzie, Sarah and the Petrie family and friends stories!!

For this to be the final Lizzie story I feel some what cheated because this book spent so much time on Lizzie getting treated badly by strangers, a bully mom and William trying to destroy her life because he's such a failure. I wish this last book would've just focused on Lizzie, Sarah, the kids and their family and friends. And letting some years pass with the kids getting older and the rest of their family and friends lives moving forward with everyone's continued growth as the years have passed. I truly hope this is not the end of Lizzie and Sarah Petrie and their kids and all their family and friends.

Fitting End to the Series

Everything in Lizzie's life is falling apart. She's been accused of murder, people spit on her, she's been demoted at work, her book deal has been canceled, the college won't let her tape in their TV studio, and none of her kid's friends are being allowed to go to Demi's birthday party. Lizzie can't share her burdon with Sarah because she is still recovering from the cesarean delivery of their youngest son Calvin. Who will she turn to and how will she support her family?

Such a Fantastic Ending!

Such a Fantastic Ending! TB Markinson does it again. This was the perfect ending to the series. It had the usual laugh out loud moments, along with angst and of course sexy times. I simply adore the series and am very happy with the way it ended. I look forward to new characters from TB.

Highly recommend

Very satisfying end to a great series. As with all the other books I enjoyed each book with laugh out loud moments and through tears. I really love Lizzy and the journey she takes and the growth she makes. In this book she comes to terms with her family while still despeately needing her sanctuary. Her meltdown is epic but gives insights that are sorely needed by all. She surprises herself in her self awareness and patterns. I highly recomend this series with it deapth of characters, story and overall enjoyment.

Sad to see it end but couldn't be happier with the ending

When I first started this series Lizzie really rubbed me the wrong way but I liked it enough to keep reading. And with each installment I fell more and more in love with not only Lizzie but all the characters. I am very sad to see this end but I really did enjoy the journey. Fans of the series will like the twists and turns in the novel. And honestly I hope this is not the last we see of this crazy family as I hope they make appearances in other books.

I loved, loved, loved this series of books and this one was no different

Lizzie is her usual quirky and humerous self but this time it seems she finally believes she deserves the good life she made for herself. Sure she still has harshness and unfair treatment to deal with but she does it with insight and amazing inner strength. She really has it all, a wife, family and friends who love her and whom she loves unconditionally, so the rest just falls in to place. I loved this series of books and am sad to see it at an end but girl what a ride!

This woman is complete.

It's as bittersweet for us readers to bid adieu to Lizzie and her "family" as it was for you as the author. It has been fun to watch her grow as a woman, wife and mother.😁 I hate to see the series end, but I will move on to see your other series grow and evolve. Keep the books coming. I thoroughly enjoy reading about these extraordinary women who inhabit your headspace. Thanks for sharing them with us, your avid readers.

Must read, worth the wait.

Once again TB has captured Lizzie and all the Petrie madness. Hope to see some crossover in other stories with these characters. Loved the series, and as always a great story of life and people’s crazy reasonings.

A great ending!

A great ending to an amazing series. I thoroughly enjoyed every book in the series! I felt invested in the lives of all the characters and couldn't wait to start the next book in the series. Sad to see it end

I love Lizzie

For those of us "sheltering in" during these difficult times, life with Lizzie is a prayer answered. NOBODY does hot sex and snarky repartee like T.B.M.! Please don't let her disappear.

Can't wait for new book

Love all of the Books looking forward to #8

Sad to see these characters go!

I have loved this series from the beginning, and this installment is not exception. The story reminds us how important a loving support system is and love prevails!

My favorite series

I heartily recommend this series and any other books by this author! I love the ending to the “A Woman Lost” but I’m a little bit sad that the series ended. Can’t wait for your next book!

Will miss the continuing story of Lizzie and Sarah

Growth of characters over time is well done. Tempted to go back to the beginning and “binge” read the series. Characters almost always have an interesting perspective!

Perfect Ending

This was a great book just like the rest of this series. It was the perfect way to leave Lizzie and family but I will definitely miss seeing more of her shenanigans.

Another great read!

Another fantastic Lizzie book! I’m going to miss new books in this series.

Great Ending to a great story!

I have to say I enjoyed the entire Lizzy series, and this book did not disappoint. In true Lizzy style there were awkward moments, near total melt downs and yet she always brings it together by showing those around her more love and compassion than they deserve. This was a beautiful story and I truly fell in love with all the characters. I can’t recommend this series enough.

It's like catching up with friends

This is kind of like catching up with friends you haven’t seen for a little while. One thing I have found with this author, I will always enjoy Markinson’s witty, dry humor. It is the kind that has me doubled over at times, tears in my eyes and trying to catch my breath. Although I would love to expand on Lizzie’s latest, remember, I never give spoilers. While some parts of this one seemed to go a bit slow, I always enjoy the interaction Markinson develops between her characters. Her dialogue is crisp and entertaining, descriptions are vivid, and her characters are so complete. If you have not read the rest of the series, I would recommend starting at the beginning. You will enjoy Lizzie’s journey. And what better way to end a series, than with new beginnings. Just sayin’.

A Great Final Edition to a Wonderful Series

The Woman Lost series has been a favorite of mine for years. I fell in love with Markinson’s series back in 2014. I waited with excitement and anticipation for each of its new installments and releases. I am sad to see it end, but I am not unhappy in the least with the way it ended. There are so many good things going on in this final edition, I don’t know where to start. Markinson does a wonderful job tying up the loose ends and completing the all the characters’ story arcs. It is well plotted, paced and written. With this story, Lizzie’s life does a bit of crash and smolder. However, she is able to pull it together before the wreckage busts into complete flames. She’s able to because she’s grown and changed so much over the course of this series. Stress, once again, is heaped on Lizzie, but she’s learned a few things since we first met her. She possess a confidence that she didn’t have at the conception of this series. Now she deals with her job, her family and her friends with finesse and diplomacy. Even while dealing with hardship, she really just shines. When we first met Lizzie some sixish years ago, we learned she is quite a complex character. She’s quirky, intelligent and loyal beyond measure. However, I think her father sums her up best when he toasts her at the going away party. He raises his glass and announces to all that Lizzie is truly “an amazing woman.” I agree; Markinson created something special with Lizzie. It’s something that can be admired, not only by readers, but by writers. Lizzie makes you think, makes you laugh, and she even makes you cry. She leaves an impression. To me, that is the mark of a well developed character. As for Sarah, she is quite a wonderful and remarkable character in this series, and she remains so in A Woman Complete. She is Lizzie’s glue and she holds her lovingly together. Sarah offers support and comfort to Lizzie in her most troubled times. She helps Lizzie not only understand herself, but her role in the family. She is central to Lizzie, as well as the family at large. Quite frankly, the story would not work without her. She is as essential to this story as she is to Lizzie and their relationship. Just as Sarah and Lizzie are both fundamental to this story, so is their relationship. In fact, it almost functions as a character. Sarah and Lizzie’s relationship grows and evolves as much as they do during this series. It works beautifully in the storyline. It isn’t perfect, but whose relationship is? However, it’s real and relatable and believable. I will miss it as much as I will Lizzie and Sarah. As for the rest of the cast of characters, one word: bravo! They all work so well in this series. They truly are an ensemble. I love them, and I love how they contribute to the storyline. Markinson did an excellent job bringing closure to her supporting characters’ story arcs, and she did it with a degree of success that I’ve rarely seen done in a long running series. Her attention to her secondary characters’ lives and how it all plots into the overall story is perfectly executed. We aren’t left with any unanswered questions or confusion. I’m sure it was a daunting task and I applaud her. Well done. A Woman Complete is a fabulous conclusion to a wonderfully entertaining series. I am sad that it has been put to bed, but I know I can revisit it anytime, and believe me, I will! I highly recommend A Woman Complete, as I do all the books in this series.

What a final episode!

Final installment of Lizzie and Sarah’s A Woman Lost Series. If you've been reading the series, you will know that Lizzie struggles with insecurities and anxieties and yet have come through stronger with each book. In this book which is also the last in the series, Lizzie slowly unravels. She is constantly stressed, experiencing nightmares where her dead mother tries to kill her, wife Sarah is still out of commission after having given birth to Calvin, the latest addition to the Petrie family, brother Peter being hauled off to jail and sister-in-law Tie perishing in an unfortunate but somewhat ironic incident. The Petrie scandal then encounters fallout effect – Lizzie loses her book deal, her tenure at the university is a little shaken, they get shunned and best friend Ethan’s marriage finally falls apart. Don't want to be giving away the whole story but I just couldn't believe how Lizzie can't seem to catch a break! In any case, I had to keep reading as I needed to see how this would finally end. Will Lizzie continue to be the glue that holds the Petrie family together. I was surprised by the turn the ending took but nevertheless heaved a sigh of relief that all’s well will end well for the Petries. Almost sad to get to the end of this series which meant no more Lizzie, Sarah, Maddie nor the twins! Perhaps TB could start a new series featuring the younger generation Petries - I'd love to see what mischief they get up to!

So worth the journey

T.B. Markinson (2020) ends Lizzie’s story with as much drama as it started. (laugh) I said in an earlier review of this series, “The community and family that you make when you are LGBTQ and not supported by your biological family is sometimes what you need to survive and Markinson displays this beautifully in this book.” Let’s hit repeat on this statement for this book too. I really like who Lizzie has grown to become and Markinson taps into many of the dynamics that people who are married or not married fall into. I think there is a little something for everyone to relate to whether you are LGBTQ+ or not. Markinson adds humor, strife, dumbfoundedness, and pain which is all a part of life. Markinson does it in such a way though that you want to keep turning the page or swiping right. A Woman Complete satisfies the need to find out how it all ends while still questioning the craziness of it all. Life can be crazy sometimes and Markinson writes it dynamically. I received an ARC of this book and I am writing a review without prejudice and voluntarily.

I Love This Series!

Having followed Lizzie's journey from the beginning, I have to say that I'm sad to see it end. It was an amazing series, one that I highly recommend. The characters are well-rounded, the twists and turns will keep you guessing, and you'll feel every emotion possible as you go through these books! I wasn't sure how I'd feel about this book as endings are always difficult, and I wasn't sure how everything would wrap up. I am happy to say that TB Markinson did not disappoint. I can't think of any of her books that have disappointed, honestly, but I have a special fondness for Lizzie and Sarah and their kids, so I was hoping it would end well. I needn't have worried! Now that this saga has come to an end, I may have to start again at the beginning...

Finally finding her way

This last book in the series caps it off perfectly. Watching Lizzie grow over the previous books has been great and the growth for her in this book is no different. In continuing to comes to terms with what is best for her and her family after the fallout of the drama from Peter and Tie, Lizzie falls back on some old behaviors but also continues to open up and let others help her find her way. It’s also not just the concerns of Lizzie’s immediate family that she’s having to think about either. Family is not just those who share blood relations but who we surround ourselves with and Lizzie and her family find their way in this fitting conclusion. I received and ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Great finale

This was such a good book! Lizzie’s growth is phenomenal. She does repeat some of her mistakes, namely keeping things from her wife. Otherwise, she rises to the challenges as her life appears to be crumbling around her. Although she doesn’t see it, still calling herself clueless, her friends point out how much they need her. Everyone appears in this final book, too – siblings, parents, friends, enemies all take a bow. There is humor because Lizzie does have her faults and some of the scenes are just funny. This was a great way to end the series, but I will miss Lizzie and everyone else. I received an ARC for an honest review.

Terrific.

I have read and loved the Lizzie character from the very beginning. Markinson has written one of the most memorable characters in Lizzie. Her live was mostly crap with no help from those around her. Her brith family is incredibly horrible, yet Lizzie grows into a remarkable woman who loves her wife and children more than anything. Caring for them and trying to be the best possible history professor was her life’s mission. It forces aim to target Lizzie, once again, and make her life very challenging. How Lizzie and her wife navigate those challenges makes for a great read. I’m sorry to see the series end but love how Markinson wrote it. I now want to go back to book one and read the series again, yes, it is that good.

Great ending to a great series

This whole series is great and this last book didn't disappoint. Lizzie and Sarah remain a strong couple and are a rock to the friends and family around them. Lizzie still tries to handle things on her own and not burden her wife, but she has gotten a lot better. Sarah is, as always, the perfect wife and mother, and believes in and loves Lizzie so much. Lizzie is ever-grateful for Sarah and still clueless why Sarah loves her, of all people, but she knows it's true and Lizzie shows her appreciation every chance she gets. This book was true to the rest of the series and, even though I'm disappointed that the series is ending, this last book was not a disappointment at all.

Beautiful book and series!

A Woman Complete is a touching story about Lizzie and her ups and downs in life. T.B. Markinson has written a wonderful series and I enjoyed reading her books. She made Lizzie and her family, people you would love to know in real life. A Woman Complete shows Lizzie going through a very turbulent time, but her loving wife always there for her even when she keeps the issues a secret...like she usually does. Sarah, Maddie and Ethan are characters that make the story even better. It is a very touching story. It made me laugh and had me gasp in shock. But for those of you that need the HEA it won’t disappoint. I recommend this book and most definitely the series! Enjoy!

well done!

Oh I just love this series! Lizzie is so real, and I relate so much lol. I have enjoyed the entire cast of characters, their shenanigans, and enjoyed seeing Lizzie and Sarah grow, together and as individuals. I also enjoyed watching TB grow as a writer. I think Lizzie has inspired her too! Thank you for such a wonderful, entertaining series and I look forward to whatever comes next.

I didn’t see what was coming right until the end, so good is her craft at storytelling.

It’s no wonder Elizabeth Petrie is lost and her life is such a mess, with the emotionless family she has to contend with, and it isn’t just because she is a lesbian, except for the Scotch Lady, of course. But having the hots for her brother’s gorgeous fiancé Maddie – surely it could never work, or could it? Being a historian, she must know that such a relationship is doomed to failure and always has been. There are many examples she can pull from the past, but she has convinced herself that Maddie and her could be different. If only Lizzie’s girlfriend Sarah wasn’t so wonderful in bed – the decision would be clear, but Sarah’s fingers are heaven and she isn’t too demanding on her time, giving our Lost Woman too much time on her hands to fantasize rather than see what is right in front of her. A Woman Lost is a well-thought-out piece of work, excellently presented, so that the reader is quickly caught up in Lizzie’s dilemma. TB Markinson is a gifted Author and I would highly recommend this book as well as any of her others. I didn’t see what was coming right until the end, so good is her craft at storytelling.

A fitting conclusion...

TB Markinson has managed to engage and keep her readers all the way through this great series...a glimpse into Lizzie’s world. Lizzie starts this final story in an unenviable position as she suffers a series of blows, from loss of her book deal, threats to her livelihood, being hated for her family name and even having to juggle the toxic situation of the toddlers music group! Whereas Lizzie may previously have looked for help and support in all the wrong places, this time she gets it right. And her taking down of two particular top bitches in this will have you cheering along! I could happily read more about Lizzie and her family but I understand that all good things must come to an end...and this is a very fitting conclusion to a wonderful series.

A realistic and enjoyable story

An enjoyable read with realistic characters. Although part of the 'Woman Lost' series it is a complete book with a satisfying conclusion. Sufficient reference is made to what has happened in previous books for it to make sense and the ending could be the ending of the series, although I notice that another volume has just been released.

Woman Lost Series

I have now read all the books in this series. Absolutely loved them. Out of all the characters, my favourites are Lizzie and Maddie. I also loved reading/watching as the love/relationship grew and developed between Lizzie and Sarah.

A fitting end to a great series

Have loved this whole series. The characters and storylines are well written and really draw you in. From the first book to the last, I fell in love and rooted for Lizzie and her eclectic mix of family and friends.

Absolute must read

I read the full series last week and I have now started to reread the full series. I love them .

Lizzie and Sarah are amazing!

Can't stop devouring these wonderful books.

It’s not the last one..is it?

Wow wow wow this has been pretty interesting so far and I’m selfishly hoping you are writing away another one.

Satisfying End to the Series

This was a very good conclusion to this series. I love Lizzie and the imperfections of her entire brood. The only complaint I have is the same one I’ve always had - the cover art is ridiculous and doesn’t tie in at all.

Great Story

A nice conclusion to the series! I highly recommend reading it all! You won't be able to put it down!

A complete woman series

I could not get enough of Lizzie and her family. I laughed and I cried. This is a storyline that I could reread many many times. And will do so.

An excellent series

I'm sad this is the last book. Lizzie and Sarah will hold a special place in my heart for years to come.

Great read

This is one of my favorite series. I was happy to see everything working out for my favorite historian and her family

Excellent series

Great end from a long journey. From book one I was hooked! ?looking forward to reading more from TB Markinson!

A Woman

After seven novels, Lizzie and Sarah have become indelible in my mind and heart. To have read (and enjoyed) every novel in the series was a treasure that I will revisit time and time again. The growth of Lizzie, as a person, wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, educator, was refreshing, filled with real and empathetic details and moments, many of which I can relate. Far removed from the clueless woman she, Lizzie, has become at the conclusion of this series. Now, as Sarah lovingly puts it, Lizzie is the glue that keeps her unique blend of family and friends together, the one they seek out in their times of turmoil and trials. To have turned a fleeting infatuation into a relationship of trust and love and familiarly (Lizzie’s transformative relationship with Maddie), was, for me, an epitome of maturity. I wonder if, I, could, in time, come to befriend and harbor a platonically familial relationship with someone that I once yearned for in non-platonic ways. Despite the entire series being written in Lizzie’s narrative, I was still able to delve deeply into the minds and lives of everyone around her, especially Sarah, whose calm, caring, and anchoring character and personality was consistent throughout. Maddie changed - sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse - but still maintained her wit and ability to ease any level of tension. I enjoyed the extended family dynamic that Lizzie and Sarah embraced: Demi addressing Lizzie as “Mommy” at the end had me in tears. Peter’s change, for me, was among the most emotional: I will hope that his future holds more of the good and not the ugly, for him. I wonder about his future interactions with Maddie: so far removed from the tense dynamic that they once shared they have become, Peter and Maddie. The careful and astute attention to detail was a craft I desire to employ in my own work: the casual placement of fingers in certain places, the glances across rooms, the applicable references to real-life places and persons (Lolita, Lizzie Borden, Wellesley College, Halden Prison), and the dialogue: the dialogue was so very refreshing, exciting, and enthralling, whether it was between Lizzie and Sarah, between her and her children - Freddie has carved, for himself, a special place in my heart, too - or any other individual. When Olivia called Olive the Otter “Ollie”, I was beyond melting in a pool of happiness and warmth at her adorableness and Lizzie’s reaction thereof. In my decades of reading and writing, especially what is deemed the fictional, I have come to associate every novel, every world created by each author, as realms existing somewhere beyond this one in which we currently dwell. So with that mindset, I hold fast to the belief that, despite the end of Lizzie and Sarah’s story here on parchment, they will continue to live their lives, surrounded by Ollie, Freddie, Demi, Calvin, Maddie, Hank, Gandhi, Rose, Troy, Charles, Helen, Peter, Allen, Gabe, Ethan, Casey, Lisa, Lola, Bailey, Courtney, Jorie, JJ, Claire, Ian, Mia, Dr. Marcel, Mrs. Marcel, and every other person with whom they interact and love. To T.B. Markinson: I extend gratitude, light, and love to you for crafting such a beautiful piece of writing amidst these perilous periods of our realm: I will hope that this is not the end of our glimpses into Lizzie and Sarah’s lives and that we will see them sometime again. Nevertheless, I look forward to reading more of your novels, regardless of their continuity thereof. Take care and be safe.

Maybe the best in the series

Sometimes, a book series goes on for too long, and the author strains for something new and interesting (but not out of context) to do. But not this series! This was maybe the best of the series - which is saying a lot. The connection between Lizzie and Sarah, their love for their kids, and the rest of their family, and friends, was so much fun to watch. One of the more intriguing aspects was watching how, without being heavy-handed, various interconnected events and themes showed how history can repeat itself - and maybe is repeating itself from Lizzie’s research subject - the Nazis. From Lizzie’s lack of control of the situation, to her understanding of it, and grace in handling it, combined with needed pep talks from her wife and others in their circle, were a delight to read. Kudos to Markinson for putting this all together seamlessly and making it look easy!

A heart warming way to end a series

I just want to say WOW, kudos to T.B. Markinson for writing Lizzie and Sarahs story and sharing them with us. Yes, it was sad to see this story come to its final conclusion. I hated to put it down and I didn't want it to end. Yet, the way it ended seemed perfect. I finished this book with a smile on my face... I’ve come to adore Lizzie, Sarah, Maddie and the rest of the gang like many others from the very beginning. This was a beautiful story that had Lizzie overcoming her fears, letting go, trusting her friends and the Love of her family to help her threw anything. Note: would love to see a stand alone novel in regards to Maddie. I always felt like she was short changed in the love department. I would love to see a HEA for her. 😉 This is definitely a series I would read again and recommend 5⭐️

LIFE and LOVE

I write in part because TB asked it while concluding each volume. I read them all, twice, and am in awe. Consequently, this review is about more than this book. In the fewest words, volume 7 frustrated me until Lizzie's explosion in the bar, then WHOA. And in two words for the whole set, "LOVED IT!" Sometimes, a book series will enchant and delight you such that it shapes your own life experience well after you put them down. Sometimes, a story is so vividly drawn and emotionally compelling that you want to wallow in every tearful word and scream with frustration as each book is ending. Sometimes, you find a character written in fiction that feels so close to yourself that you feel as if you read your own biography. And then, you pick up "A Woman Lost".... What do you say when you feel ALL of the above? At once? I laughed aloud so often my partner began wearing ear plugs to bed; and then, there were other times I wept so openly I could not see to continue reading. For me, the series was a roller coaster ride faster than space mountain and more fulfilling than real life, almost. I felt inspired and ashamed, engaged and infuriated, but most of all, I felt the loving strength Lizzie and Sarah made together. I want some of that! No one wants to read a review longer than the books themselves so.... If you wonder "should I read this?" my emphatic answer is YES! (repeated thrice with the caps and exclamation point). There are scenes of clever humor. There are some with such tension you can feel the air crackle. There's some naughty scenes, delicately handled, to define the reality of Lizzie and Sarah's love for one another. In the end, it's the love that binds them together. ***spoiler alert- some of the following might foreshadow reading... stop here if you have NOT read at lest the first 3 books*** Try not to swear too much at Peter- he's just a clueless guy who turns out ok, eventually; and, resist the temptation to read passages to your partner (it spoils their own chance to enjoy). Everybody gets their just desserts, especially the Star Wars-esque reward for the villain, Tie. Finally, to TB Markinson, a "personal for": I'm going back for my history MA in Elizabethan England, and it's ALL YOUR FAULT! Or maybe Lizzie's. Thank you, for a tale of friends, family, adversity and love. I lived it with your awesome characters and I am better for that experience. xoxoxo

great finish to a great series

This is a really good book. Great ending for the series. Lizzie has come a long way. Watching the way that she and Sarah have grown in their relationship is wonderful. The friends and family that have come to respect her, for what she has taken on and come thru the other side stronger. I would really enjoy a book at least 10 to 15 years in the future and see where they are and what has happened in their lives. Highly reccommend the whole series.

Don't pass this one up!

Couldn't wait for this book to come out! I adore the "A Woman Lost" series, especially because of the nuances of the characters. Lizzie and Sarah, as well as other characters, are not cardboard but instead are complex individuals who definitely change and grow over time. This book, the last in the series (sob), was so hard to put down when I had to re-enter every day life and I couldn't wait til I could get back to it. There are definitely twists and turns, and the author's skill is visible throughout the story. I'm going to sit down and read it again!

Not wanting to be the end

I was so excited to read Lizzie's next book, in denial, mostly anxious not wanting it to be the finale. It's not unusual for Lizzie to break down in her most adoring way, and this book is yet another attestation to that. I did not expect the story to move back to William, but I see it as an important part of the story being the catalyst for Lizzie to move forward with her career and family. The mom bully angle is funny, added extra humor and it paved a way for Lizzie to blow off dangerously becoming explosive steam. I was hoping for the last book to focus more on Lizzie's relationship with her brother and all the chaos that came after, her niece and how she fits in with a new baby and all in the family, and Maddie's star crossed relationship with Peter and Demi in the mix. But hey, a happy ending beats any other ending for me. Thanks TB for another good book! Not my favorite of the series but you gotta read them all to know why.

TB Markinson Once Again Writes a Great Book

TB Markinson, in A Woman Complete, takes the reader on the final journey of Lizzie Petrie and the people she calls family. As I have read through the Woman Lost Series, I have been taken in by the joys, trials and humor of the characters that Markinson has craftily portrayed on the written page. I have enjoyed this series and is one that I will re-read in the future. A must read.

A Fantastic Book to end the Series

This is the final book in A Woman Lost Series. As with all the other books in the series, TB. Marlinson creates a book that I never wanted to end With an amazing support system of her family and friends, Lizzie gets through a troubling time in her life. I like how T. B. so seamlessly puts JJ's family from the Miracle Girl into Lizzie's life. Of course, Lizzie is in true character and goes off the deep end. I laughed out loud reading about her adventures. The connection that Lizzie and Sarah share comes through loud and clear in the book. A spectacular romance for the ages. It is sad that the series is ending. I have gotten used to keeping up on the adventures in Colorado. The way the story ends is perfect. Good triumphs evil! This is a must-read series.

A fabulous finale for a wonderful series!

Lizzie, Sarah, and the Petrie tribe continue to grow and expand. Lizzie faces trouble at work while Sarah deals with a bully, all while adding two more children to their family. There’s more but I don’t want to give any spoilers. This is most definitely one you will want to read. Be sure to read the A Woman Lost series! Bravo T.B. for a fantastic end to the Lizzie and Sarah story. A fabulous finale to a wonderful series!

What a fantastic series, last book was amazing!

I am an avid reader and I can honestly say that Lizzie is one of my all time favorite characters. Her story will make you laugh and make you cry. Lizzie and Sarah’s Love story is heartwarming and their families are what all our families are- challenging. So many of us are made to feel that we are not “enough” and can cause some self doubt. Lizzie and Sarah build their own family with their relatives and friends. I will miss Lizzie but this was a great ending to this series.

Sophisticated Book

The opening grips the reader demanding that one continues reading. It is clear throughout the book that the main character has matured, but still needs to grow. I like flawed characters who recognize that they have to change. This book forces the reader to become more introspective as she resonates with aspects of Lizzie's life. Really an exceptional read.

Lizzie Grows Up

A Woman Complete is the final installment in A Woman Lost series. I have thoroughly enjoyed Lizzie’s journey throughout the series. Lizzie has always been full of insecurities and anxieties. In this novel, we find her juggling family life, work life and obstacles brought on by others. Although she has insecurities and anxiety issues, she finally has learnt how to deal with them. T.B. Markinson did an excellent job in showing Lizzies growth especially with how she handles her family and job. She has learnt when to ask for help, when to speak up for herself and when to let go. I highly recommend this novel. It will leave you with a sense of completion.

Great as always

First off, I 've read all of Markinson's work and by far this is my favorite series. Definitely in my top three favorite series of all time! I love, love, LOVE the humor and wit. The banter between characters is seamless. Steamy scenes are awesome, the minute her books are released I drop what I'm reading and dive straight into her book. I cannot wait for the next story she weaves to fall into.

A satisfying finale for Lizzie

This books shows how much Lizzie has grown since we first met her in the first book of A Woman Lost series. As always there are hijinx abound and loved catching up with Ethan (still don't understand that guy), Peter, Dad, Helen, Lisa, Casey, Gabe, JJ's brood (more JJ please), Sarah, and Maddie. Not sure about the growth arc for Sarah, but she's been pregnant a lot. And great decision on where they end up. Looking forward to a Maddie book??? Overall, a great read.

Going out on top

What a way to finish a series. TB Markinson put the finishing touches on this series, filling it with love, warmth, and passion. Lizzie and Sarah are wonderful characters, the writing is spot on, and the story comes alive on the page. I highly recommend the series from prequel to finale!

Absolutely wonderful! Loved it!!!

This finale is a great culmination of the entire series. This last installment shows us just how much Lizzie has grown as a person and why she’s the glue of the Petrie family. We get to see Lizzie stand up to bullies showing how much her past experiences have made her stronger. T.B. Markinson has really done a fantastic job with this finale!!

A n Interesting Read

I enjoyed reading A Woman Complete. It was well-written and the story moved along at a good pace. Markinson has a fantastic way with words and manages to set the mood of the story and the moods of her main character with ease and reality. As this is the final book in the series a lot of characters were thrown into the mix and it is difficult to tell who is who or their relationship to the main character but they are all important to the story. I suggest you read the earlier books in the series if this gets too confusing.

End of an Amazing Series

These books and characters grew on me over time. I am sure I will be re-reading them in the future. I really want a continuing series, maybe from Sarah's point of view. So many good characters! I am going to look at T.B.'s other books to see if I run into them again.

I Love This Series!

I have laughed, cried, held my breath, been breathless... I loved meeting these characters and sharing their lives. T.B. is a masterful storyteller. Her characters and their stories are so vivid that I find myself completely immersed and invested in their lives. Watching Lizzie evolve through this series has been amazing - through both the pain and the joy. Please read the entire series. And buckle your seatbelt, you're in for a wild ride! I very highly recommend this book and the entire series.

A terrific book that can be read as a stand alone or part of the series

I very much enjoyed reading this book. This was my first book in the Woman Lost series. It can be read as a stand alone but now I want to go back and read all the others. This was such a fun read. The author kept me engaged with the characters and plot twists throughout. This was my first book by this author but definitely not my last.

Well,done

So much is going on in Lizzie’s life which is not unusual. But unexpected twists and turns lead to new adventures for the whole family. Sarah and Lizzie are a wonderful couple that always support one another and their family. A lovely ending!

Great read

This is a great final story in the series. Lizzie has grown so much. She has been my favorite character throughout. The family dynamics are great. Sarah and Maddie are great as well. Great love scenes with a very nice ending.

Really good series and end 🤣

I love a good ongoing series like this one. In-depth characters and a great central love story with good sex. I don’t have a lot to add to the reviews already here. Read them. Experience these characters and their lives.

Love Lizzie

T.B. Markinson has done it again with another book I couldn’t put down. I found myself not wanting it to be over. As sad as it is to see Lizzie’s journey come to an end, seeing her evolution has been heart warming. If you enjoy snarky comebacks, earl grey tea and happy endings this is definitely a must read.

An another excellent book.

Excellent writing. im sorry the books are over. I love the Lizzie series. The characters have such great chemistry. I look forward to more books.

Love the series

I loved the entire series of books. This book will have you thinking about your own group of friends and their intentions and how something you may have done in your past affect someone else’s life positively or negatively

Wow

This series was amazing I can definitely relate to lizzie so when I got the emails about book 7 and 8 I had to read them and after 2 days I am sad to say I have finished both books and I need more of lizzie and her antics, someone please help me what am I gonna read now

Loved this series.

Highly recommend this book. I will miss the characters.. This book is the perfect ending for the series. Thanks for another winner.

A Lovely Series about finding your way in overwhelming circumstances

Great book! I really enjoyed getting to know Lizzie and her family. Seeing Lizzie grow and establish herself, get out of her comfort zone, and be so supportive to a family that shunned her shows what a generous heart she has. I was glad to see Lizzie re-establish herself and family in a new setting. Although I hate for the series to end I hope to see more of Lizzie and Sarah perhaps in a Maddie story.

A good ending

I really enjoyed reading A Woman Complete. There were many relatable parts and uplifting moments. While I did like the store, for me there were a few part that seemed to lag a bit. But otherwise a good read and good ending to the Lizzie series.

I will really miss Lizzie 😥

Great series! Thoroughly enjoyed every one of them. I'll miss Lizzie and the rest of the bunch. Spoiler below: Spoiler: Still glad the 'Bourbon Lady' died. 👍

Fabulous Conclusion!

If you are a Lizzie fan, you will love this final book in the series. All of the little quirks that you have come to love, plus the humor and love between the main characters still keep you turning the pages. Sorry to see Lizzie go, but love how the series ended. It’s worth reading you will enjoy it!

Worth the read

I loved this book and the whole series. It’s very intriguing what happens to the Petrie family. How Lizzie deals. I recommend starting with the prequel to the series. Lizzie grows and evolves as a person through all the books. I enjoyed this book with the new addition to the family and how they all cope. New villains and those from the past. I recommend this!

Lizzie Triumphs!!

So happy Lizzie triumphed at the end! Sorry to know it is the end if the series though... I will miss reading about the adventures of my “soul sister”! Well done!

A fitting end

A Woman Complete opens with a one-two combination that grabs your attention from the get-go and doesn’t let up. Markinson delivers a wonderful end to Lizzie and Sarah’s story, neglecting no other members of their family. Through trials and tribulations, she shows us a little hard work and a lot of love go a long way.

Grow with love

Lizzie and Sarah are what all of us strive to find in a relationship. The problem with this book is that it ends...hoping another will follow though.

Good Ending

This book was a good ending to the “Woman” series. A few things left me puzzled but I overall enjoyed the book and series.

So sad to see it end

I recently discovered this series and read all the previous books as fast as I could. I looked forward to reading the final book in the series and it did not disappoint. What a wonderful ride. I look forward to revisiting Lizzie and the rest of the gang on many occasions.

Wrapped in a bow

This is a nice end to the series. I don’t feel like any threads have been left hanging which a plus.

Wonderful end to a wonderful.

Brava, Brava. A wonderful end to a wonderful series. Perhaps a small encore in the near future?

Lizzie is so funny and her black/white thoughts incredibly insightful.

Loved the books (all seven) Wish there was more. The interactions between people were so weird, yet cool. The later books balanced out the first books and took me on a nice funfilled read.
