love this series

REVIEWED BY LINDA TONIS MEMBER OF THE PARANORMAL ROMANCE REVIEW TEAM Odette Allemand died at birth and was given life by Baron Samedi her Guardian Angel. In addition to giving her life he gave her a gift, a gift that would change her life at the age of twelve. Sent to her uncle for lessons on Voodoo she discovered that he was using her and her gift enslaving souls. Unfortunately with the Baron’s assistance she was freeing the souls and something happened that would change her life forever. Odette turned her back on voodoo, her gift the Baron and New Orleans and did not return for sixteen years. Odette discovered after several past life regressions that each life ended with a horrific death, the death of her and her lover. Now she is convinced that the last thing she should do is fall in love and repeat the past. Her plan not to fall in love sounded feasible until the foreman on the job renovating her new home knocked on the door. James Malveaux is a wolf shifter who knew Odette in school and when he saw her he felt an instant attraction, an attraction his wolf also felt except for the part where his wolf wanted the girl he had been dreaming about for weeks. James wants Odette as his mate and she knew as soon as she saw him that he was her soul-mate but how can he justify wanting two different women, especially when one of the women he has never seen in person, has no name for and has no idea how to find her. As soul-mates there is no way that James and Odette can stay away from each other and now more than ever she needs the Baron’s help to break the cycle of death, but he is still keeping his distance from her since she turned on him. If there is any hope of Odette and James living a long and happy life they have to discover who the monster is that keeps killing them and how to destroy it otherwise death waits for them both. This is actually the first book I have read that involved voodoo as much as this one did and it was quite interesting. I am a person that never says never so although I doubt the voodoo religion I know better than to judge it. If you haven’t read the previous books in this series I highly recommend doing so because each book gets better and better and you would be missing out on some very wonderful paranormal romances. Voodoo, ghosts, spirit guides, demons, romance, sex and surprises what more could a paranormal romance lover ask for.

A VERY UNIQUE INTERESTING STORY.......PHENOMINAL PARANORMAL ROMANCE!!!!!!!!

I am giving my honest review of "A DEAL WITH DEATH" Hold on to your seats this one adducting interesting, entertaing, mysterious magical storyline with action, steamy scene, and some twists you don't see coming a definite page turner you just can't put down. Odette Allemand died at birth but her Mather made a deal with death Baron Samedi who brought her back to life along with powers to see and talk to the dead and help them pass over. Odette's Uncle Mathias was training her he knew what her powers were and used her for nefarious purpose stealing souls put in ouangas magical jars when she realized Baron Samedi took control of her body to free the souls her uncle went balistic and attacked her when tbe Baron released her body. Emile came to Odette's rescue pulled his dad Mathias off her and he started beating his son and Odette tried help sent her power at him killing him they buried the body in the swamp together he wouldn't talk or look at her on the way back to the house then her dad arrived she swore from that day forward she'd never use that power again. Odette moved to New Orleans from Alabama and bought a beautiful 19th century mansion she wanted to restore it to its natural condition she hired Mason's Remodelling and it was James Malveaux who showed up he realized she was the woman his wolf wanted to claim as his fate mate from his dreams. The chemistry between Odette and James was smoking hot I loved her personality and he was such a swetheart but every time Odette found her soul mate it ends in a horrific murder over and over. Odette and James have awaken the monster and they need the Spirit of Death to help them or they'll die will they get their HEA it's a must read you don't want to miss the characters are well developed, captivating, engaging, they pull you right in like your right there with them. I defintely would recommend to get extremely well written story by Carrie Pulkinen she did an awesome job bringing you the world of Voodooism, spirits, demons, Werewolves, witches among other paranormal creatures it's so addicting I can't wait for the next book.

An addicting read!

A Deal with Death (Crescent City Wolf Pack #4) by Carrie Pulkinen was an engaging, original read that had me hooked. I have been waiting for this book, and I'm all in a good feels place cause the wait is over, but I'm sad at the same time cause I want more books from this series like yesterday. This series has been by far my favourite of the year, and I can't get enough of this world that Carrie Pulkiene has created. This book opens with a dark bang, and it sets the stage for the crazy good to come. I love how there's always a mystery, and how the female MC's are always kickass and brilliant. Sure they have their hot alpha male werewolf, but they're no push over, and this book is no different with Odette. I loved her, and I think she's probably my favourite MC so far. Sure sure, James is great too, but Odette, she was just outstanding, and I have a major girl crush. Overall this book was quite the read, it was as I said, fresh, original and just one of those wow reads that gets your blood flowing. The detail was on point, the plot solid, and the dark themes helped keep your mind engaged. There was enough romance to break it up, and keep it light while not overpowering the characters. To end, this book this series is a must read, and it gets my super high recommedantion and my golden stamp of approval. Happy Reading -E.A. Walsh

I loved reading this story.....

A Deal with Death (Crescent City Wolf Pack Book 4) By: Carrie Pulkinen 5 out of 5 stars The story A Deal with Death (Crescent City Wolf Pack Book 4) by Carrie Pulkinen is an awesome and amazing book to read. It pulled me in right from the start and didn’t let me go until I had finished the final page. I loved reading about the characters of Odette Allemand and James Malveaux. Odette is a smart, strong, independent, and beautiful woman. The only problem is that every time she meets her soulmate things end horrifically. Then she meets James. James is a werewolf who feels that he is broken. He remembers Odette from back in school. He is finding that his wolf wants to claim her as his mate. There is a deep attraction between these two. There seems to be a connection between them and there are sparks when they are together. Are Odette and James destined to go through an ending that never seems to change? What does their future hold? Read this book to find out. This story creates an atmosphere of suspense that had me turning pages to find out what is going to happen next. I got caught up in the romance and the emotions of the characters. I grew to care about Odette and James with each chapter that I read, and I couldn’t help but want things to work out for them. I enjoyed the bantering and interactions between them. The author has created a story that you won’t want to put down with unforgettable characters that come alive. I highly recommend reading this book.

Who Do That Voodoo...

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. A Deal With Death is the fourth book in the Crescent City Wolf Pack series. Now here is a book that will take you on a wild ride! I really enjoyed Odette and James' story. I can't tell you how many times the hairs on the back of my neck stood on end while reading this book. If you have no experience with Voodoo (and even if you do), Carrie Pulkinen gives a very basic and respectful view of this religion and its practitioners. With an exceptional eye to detail, a colorful and mystical world unfolds along with the complications and ramifications of dealing with Loas. Past life regressions, curses and ghosts are just a few of the situations that Odette and James will have to face if they want their chance at love. I absolutely love that this book (in my opinion) was written in pictures. New Orleans came into sharp focus and I could practically smell the city and the swamp and feel the sticky heat. A great addition to her Crescent City Wolf Pack series. This sexy read is for Mature Readers Only Please! This honest and voluntary review was made possible by reading a copy through Bookfunnel.

SPELLBINDING READING

A DEAL WITH DEATH is the fourth book in the Crescent City Wolf Pack series. I asked and was assured it would stand on its own (since I hadn’t read the previous books in the series). That assurance was well-founded. I was elated to receive that word. I was going to be returning to New Orleans with Carrie Pulkinen as my guide. On the other hand, I had no idea she was a vodouist! To read this story is to believe she must be; her research is impeccable, educating, and enlightening. I love when I can learn in an entertaining way – mission accomplished. The story of Odette and James begins when they are children, though really it begins long before then. I loved the twists and turns, the peek-a-boo hints, and the teases. This story kept me on pins and needles. It grabbed my hands and kept them glued to my Kindle. Though this is the first book I have read in this series, I would love to know the rest of the pack going forward and in their history. I’ve already fallen in love with everyone I’ve met. Note: While I received this book as a gifted ARC, my opinions are my own and are given freely. Couldn’t love this book more

I voluntarily read an arc of this book for an honest review. Man this book was amazing! I loved Odette and all the struggles she had to overcome. James is a big sweetheart he’s proven himself strongest even with his inferior healing abilities. He’s always felt like this was a flaw but it’s more. Something deeper that you’ll never guess in a million years and was absolutely fascinating to read. Odette for her part knows through visions that she’ll die horribly just like every time she’s found her soul mate in the past. This relationship develops so naturally and in such a way where you’ll want the very best for them. You’ll be in love with James and his protectiveness and Odette and her strength and vulnerability. I really couldn’t love this book more. Carrie Pulkinen has done her research on the voodoo culture and it is frightening and addictive to read. The depth of the plot, the difficulties they go through and the love they have will leave you breathless. You have to read this book and Love and Ghosts also by this author. They’re not connected story wise but both are reads you’ll go back to again and again!

Voodoo magic

A Deal with Death (Crescent City Wolf Pack Book 4) by Carrie Pulkinen is another exciting book in this series. It is a paranormal story that encompasses wolves and voodoo and is set in New Orleans and can definitely be read as a standalone but I know you will enjoy the other books in the series just as much. It was one intriguing and interesting read especially learning more about voodoo and it’s craft and religion. Add in werewolves and demons, death and fear, possession and spirits and you have yourself one addicting story. Odette has always been a child of death but she has pushed aside her teachings and faith after one awful night when her life changed forever. Now she is in a race against time to stop a cycle what always ends with her death. James has just found his dream renovation and the girl that held his interest in school. What he finds along the way is his mate but unless he can break the cycle in time he is facing certain death. I look forward to more.

5 Star Deal with Death

Every time she meets her soulmate, Odette Allemand’s life ends in a horrific murder. She’s determined to survive this time, but a sexy werewolf seals her fate with his enticing kiss. James Malveaux wants to claim Odette as his mate, but without the help of the Spirit of Death, they can kiss their lives goodbye. This New Orleans romance immerses readers into a chillingly wonderful culture that the author has brought to vibrant life. The characters are strong, bold and easily draw readers into their inner circle as they try to fight fate and unravel the mystery of their past lives. The romance is a very suspenseful one full of passion, chemistry and emotional angst that makes this heroine and hero life like and their situation very intriguing. The fast paced plot builds the suspense up to hair raising and spine tingling heights as Odette and James try to appease Baron Semedi and the Loas in order to change their fate and defeat an evil monster. The setting of the story and the author’s wonderful depiction of the New Orleans and the Voodoo culture adds great ambiance to this story making it easy for readers to believe in and become completely caught up in this splendid and fascinating romance full of werewolves, spirits, chemistry and passion.

Odette and James

I give A Deal with Death (Crescent City Wolf Pack Book 4) by Carrie Pulkinen, 4 stars. Odette has decided that the best way to live her life is to have complete control over is. So she turns her back on her voodoo religion and never lets her control slip. Until she meets James. This hot werewolf makes her think things she doesn't want. But she feels so good with him. However, she has bigger concerns. Things are happening in her town that she must help stop. Can she let go of the past and help stop this evil? This is a great book and nice addition to the series. James and Odette are really good characters and while this fits in with the series, it is different enough to stand on its own. Besides the attraction of the two main characters, the suspense side of the story is quite interesting. I could not put this book down. If you like paranormal romance with a suspense twist, this book is for you.

Amazing story in the series

A Deal with Death (Crescent City Wolf Pack Book 4) by Carrie Pulkinen is a paranormal/fantasy romance. This novel follows in the series closely with the previous books, but could be read separately. I do highly recommend that the books be read in order so that you get a full understanding in the depth this series provides and additional background on some of the characters that appear throughout the series. In A Deal with Death spirits and shifters are the focus; the story line is high speed and exciting from beginning to end. Carrie Pulkinen had me sitting on the edge of my seat practically biting my nails as I crested page after page to see what fates were about to be unfolded next in this book. Odette and James are magnificent in this story and I loved how they were each missing something, but were drawn towards one another regardless. This author is highly talented and a great story teller!

Fabulous Book and Series

Voodoo practitioner, Odette Allemand, left New Orleans when she was a young girl after a traumatic experience while learning to use her gifts. Now she's back wanting to make amends to the Spirit of Death and is restoring the house she bought. While not afraid of Death, Odette does fear dying so keeps everything in her life under control. She has lived multiple lives where she and her soulmate are killed soon after meeting and she hopes to avoid that in this lifetime. But when werewolf, James Malveaux, shows up to do the restoration all her plans go out the window. They recognize each other as soulmates and the monster has been awakened. Can they solve the puzzle this time and live a lifetime together? This was an awesome book. The only thing that kept me from reading it in one sitting was my late start. The story pulls you in from the beginning and keeps you hooked until the end. You find yourself cheering for James and Odette while hoping they put everything together to end the cycle. I highly recommend both this book and the series. Now just to hope another book comes out soon.

The Crescent City Wolf Pack gets another amazing story

Odette had a terrible experience as a young girl with her Uncle who took advantage of her magic for his own wicked purposes but with the help of Baron Samedi and her cousin the tables are turned but unfortunately her uncle is killed in the exchange. As a result she chooses not to use her magic anymore but does do past life regressions and finds out that whenever she meets her soul mate it ends in their gruesome murder so she is equally determined never to let a man in hoping that she can avoid the gruesome end but when she meets James and James realises that this is his mate it won't be so easy to deny what fate is in store. Can these two avoid the curse that has been plaguing them through lifetimes. The characters are excellent, the danger will make your heart race as will the passion between them. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

Brilliant

A Deal with Death by Carrie Pulkinen is the fourth book Crescent City Wolf Pack series. This is brilliant series that does not need to be read in order however I would highly recommend you give them all a go. This book has got to be my absolute favourite one so far. I was drawn into the story and the characters immediately. I felt such a connection to Odette. I couldn’t honestly say what it is about her I like so much I just did. The whole story was excellent as well. I thought it was unique and interesting. It easily kept my attention the whole way through – to be honest I could not put this book down. I read the whole thing in one sitting and wanted more when it ended. This whole series has been a fantastic read and this one just excels. I would definitely recommend you give this series a try as the author has done a brilliant job with it so far.

Phenomenal Paranormal Read!

A Deal with Death- Carrie Pulkinen 5-stars A Deal with Death is the fourth book in Carrie Pulkinen’s Crescent City Wolf Pack series. This book is honestly phenomenal, I’ve read every book of the series and have loved them all. This story is intense, action-packed, suspenseful and thrilling, I was intrigued from the very beginning and like always with this author’s work I was able to read it in one sitting as I couldn’t bring myself to put it down. I just had to get answers to all my questions and fortunately this author did not disappoint. Though this book can be read as a standalone I would recommend the whole series, this is one that you won’t want to miss!!!

Voodoo magic

Odette came from a line of Voodoo Mambos. James was a werewolf with the Crescent City Pack, but had never felt whole. He attributed it to his human mother. Odette was rich, owned a rum distillery and had just bought the house of her dreams. It had always been James’ home of his dreams too. The Pack’s construction company was hired to bring it back to its original glory and James became reacquainted with Odette while working on it. In working through issues they both had they discovered that they had to work together and defeat a monster that had prevented their happiness before. Very good story about how it can take a while to get your HEA.

An Uncle's Betrayal

Dang this was a real eye opener for me regarding voodoo and its religion. The different titles and that not all are evil even though that might be your first thought. Anyway this is informative, realistic, full of action, angst an of course a splash of romance. As a newborn Odette had died and Baron Samedi granted her life again while giving her powers that she didn't fully grasp. Her father since he knew nothing of voodoo sent her to her uncle to learn however he knew the full scope of her power and used it for nefarious purposes and when the Baron found out he was keeping souls in special jars (don't remember the spelling for the name) he was angry and took possession of the young Odette. James is a second born werewolf meaning he had a human as one half of his parentage, he began having dreams about a mysterious woman that his wolf had claimed. So when his Alpha and his boss sent him to Odette's house to go over the specs she wanted he started having feeling for her and was torn in two. Discover how these two troubled characters found forever love within this series opener. I'm sure you will be glad I know I was. I voluntarily chose to read an advance copy and have not been compensated in any way for my honest opinion.

A Deal with Death is an entrancing paranormal love story.

A Deal With Death by Carrie Pulkinen is the fourth stand alone book in the Crescent City Wolf Pack. This book is full of entrancing paranormal characters involved in an exciting paranormal adventures that include previous lives, ghosts, demons, werewolves, fated mates, and voodoo. This book has an entrancingly original story that kept me turning page after page and reading as fast as I could. This paranormal romance story spans lifetimes and makes for a fantastic read. This is definitely a 5 ++ star read of a book that should be in any paranormal romance lovers collection. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Wonderfully ethereal story full of heat, power, and mysticism!!!! Loved it!!!!

A Deal With Death by Carrie Pulkinen is a deliciously decadent story full of mysticism, voodoo, werewolves, reincarnation, and so much more!!! This story hooked me immediately and I couldn’t stop reading it!!! Carrie Pulkinen has a way of writing that fills your soul with the feel and atmosphere that surround the characters….you feel like you’re there!!!! It’s the story of James, a broken werewolf who is missing part of himself….and Odette a woman crowned by Death and given special, dangerous powers. She denies them. There is a repeating theme to their lives….occurring over and over again. Can they stop it or will it happen yet again, just as it has before. FABULOUS READ!!!!!!! I voluntarily received an Advance Reader Copy of this book for an honest review.

The books by this author are my addiction. I love them all.

This was so exciting besides the shifters, there are ghosts, voodoo priestesses, possession, a Rougarou, past life regression and a sacrifice to beat all others. James always felt like he was lacking but none of the rest of the pack felt like that. He was one of the best hunters they had. Odette was extremely powerful but afraid of her powers. Even though they went to middle school together and hadn't seen each other for years, fate seemed to remind them. If they thought they could ignore the draw to each other, they both had another think coming! Again Carrie Pulkinen has given us a glimpse into the paranormal world in New Orleans. The city has so much history and magic I wish I could visit her world for a bit. Especially Natasha and Odette. I requested an advanced reader copy and am under no obligation to leave this review.

I couldn’t put this one down! Loved it!

Wow! A Deal with Death was an amazing deliciously hot book! I absolutely LOVED it! Odette and James are both very strong interesting characters each having their own absolutely awesome abilities and such amazing hot chemistry! The intriguing New Orleans setting along with the romance, reincarnation, voodoo, spirits, demons, werewolves and oh so much more absolutely made this one a page turner! I don’t want to give anything away so I’ll just say read it! It’s an awesome book and you’ll absolutely love it from beginning to the end! I loved every single page and thought it was as good as Carrie Pulkinen’s Blood and Ghosts! Oh and you definitely should read both of these books, they both absolutely blew me away! I received a copy of this book and I’m eagerly leaving this review!

Loved it

I romance with some voodoo. Odette is a very interesting character that is easy to root for. Because of something in her past she has closed her feelings off. She seems to be cold but once a person knows her they see a glimpse of the real her. James is a werewolf and since his mother was human he sees himself as inferior. So when fate puts them together the world may just end for them. Can they break the cycle and see what they can become? Some intense moments in the story and plenty of voodoo magic. I voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of the book.

Great paranormal read

I am not a huge reader of paranormal books but the blurb of this book sucked me in. A Deal with Death is my first book by this author and definitely will not be my last. This book is about Odette who is one strong woman who every time she falls in love her mate dies. Once she gets reaquainted with James who she knew from school things start to change. James being a werewolf knows that she is his mate but can their destiny be any different than the her past soulmates? This book was a very good read and kept my interest for the entire book.

Wonderful read!

I really enjoyed this book! While I haven’t read the others in the series I have them on my to-be-read pile because this book was everything I love in a paranormal romance. From start to finish the story is one fast paced adventure with wonderful world building and characters. I highly recommend this book. A Deal with Death is the fourth standalone book in the Crescent City Wolf Pack series. I voluntarily received and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. Final Rating: 5 Stars

Not what I was expecting-

This is an intricate well thought out plot, with reincarnation, ghosts, demons and voodoo all being part of this very engaging story. I really enjoyed the characters, James is a sexy and fabulous werewolf, and Odette is a complex and not easily described awesome character, with lots of backstory. I recommend this to anyone who enjoys reading a different paranormal romance. I loved the happy ending, and I think the next book in the series will be just as enjoyable. I received an ARC of this story

Excellent!

A Deal With Death is the fourth book in the Crescent City Wolf Pack series. You can read this as a standalone, but all of the books in this series have been stellar so you’ll probably want to read them anyway. I have always loved a story with Voodoo components, and this one has a great foundation. I also loved the way the reincarnation aspect is woven in. This story caught my attention from the beginning and held it all the way through. The characters are vibrant and come alive on the page making you feel like you are in the story. Murder. Romance. Spirits. Destiny. It’s a wonderfully written tale of the paranormal variety! 😊

This Book Kept Me Hooked!

Without giving too much away, the main characters in this book were amazing! I learned alot more about voodoo than I had ever known before but I can truly understand why Odette is so scared of it all carrying her away. It's crazy intense! The bond between her and her fated love is so sweet and deep that it's no wonder she was unable to fight it. The Baron is creepy and the Rougarou is even more freakish! All the elements in this book add up to one wild adventure!

Deliciously different and fun

A voodoo practicing heroine, a shifter hero and the Spirit of Death, Carrie Pulkinen’s A Deal with Death (Crescent City Wolf Pack Book 4) is not your average paranormal adventure or romance (though it does really well as both), but it sure is well written and totally enjoyable fun. But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises. The book definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the book is most definitely one to read, and it is easy to highly recommend.

This book grabbed me from the start.

Odette was a fantastic character who was a Voodoo practice who also was a medium. Although she tried to not use her gift she ends up having to. James is a werewolf and a great character who meets Odette while working on her house. Great chemistry and lots of action. The two end up having to work together to put an end to a cycle. This book grabbed me from the start. I loved it!! I am voluntarily reviewing an arc.

A great read!

This is a fab fast paced shifter romance that will have you on the edge of your seat! Well written this fourth book can be read on its own but you are missing out if you don’t read the others!! Lots of twists and turns, suspense, voodoo and definitely an 18+ due to the sexual content, but oh what chemistry the two mc’s have! A great read!

Loved it

Each book on this series just keeps getting better. I loved it. If I were Odette, and that happened to me as a kid, I’d probably be terrified too. Both she and James were so well-written, the connection you feel to the characters is definitely there. And the folklore elements were awesome.

Hidden New Orleans

This book is a heady mix of New Orleans voodoo, werewolves, loas, action, spicy romance…oh, and spirits…alcoholic and otherwise. With wonderful characters and an intriguing plot it will definitely keep your attention. This is my honest, voluntary review of an advanced reader copy of this book.

Great Book

From the very beginning this book had me hooked and I couldn’t put it down. I can understand why Odette was the way she was. James is the only one that can help her, if she lets him. This book was entertaining and very well written. It’s worth the time to read. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Great Read!

A Deal with Death is the fourth book in this series and it was fantastic. From the very first page I was drawn in and didn’t wanna put it down. This was a fast paced shifter romance and the characters are great! Odette and James are the types of characters that just stick with you and you just can’t help but love. I am looking forward to meeting more by this author and I would recommend to a friend.

HEA with a Voodoo twist

This was an awesome story. I didn’t know anything about Voodoo before reading it but now I’m going to have to do my own research. James and Odette were a wonderful couple to tag along with and I enjoyed every page of their story!

great book

A Deal with Death (Crescent City Wolf Pack #4) by Carrie Pulkinen 5 out of 5 stars A deal with death is the fourth book in the Crescent City Wolf pack written by Carrie Pulkinen is a great book that goes with a great series. I have read all four books in this series and they just get better with each book. The characters are great with quirky personalities but they needed this for their quest to solve the puzzle. Voodoo practitioner Odette Allemand, isn’t scared of death but dying sure as hell does. And every time she meets her soul mate, her life ends in a horrific murder. Then she's reincarnated to have it happen all over again. She is determined to survive this lifetime, so she has closed herself off to her powers and spirit But when James Malveaux a sexy werewolf knocks on her door, he unearths emotions she thought she'd buried, now her fate is sealed with his enticing kiss. He hasn't seen her since junior high, but the moment they reunite, his wolf wants to claim her as his mate. Now that they have reconnected they have awakened the monster and hope it doesn’t kill them before they get a chance to kill it first. Will James make peace with his wolf and accept Odette? Can he help Odette make peace with her inner demons and the Spirit? Or will the couple be doomed to the same gruesome ending as their countless lives before? I highly recommend this book/series… By Tracy @tracym

Blown away by book 4, 10 stars

I don't know if it's this author's obvious love of New Orleans or my own love for the city, which drew me there twice this year, that keeps me enthralled with this series. I can literally follow in the characters' footsteps as their story takes place corner to corner on every single block. The city is magical and resilient and that adds that special something to these tales. Each one gets more refined with the author's growing ability to tell an enchanting story with blood, mayhem, and love of course. Even better, the leading female is, dare I say it, black. YAS! If I hadn't already visited NOLA twice, I'd be planning to make my way there. Artists have no idea how much they inspire others, it's why people are so critical of their work. Well, I couldn't find fault this time, and if I did, I can't remember what it was. Brilliant job, Pulkinen!! I'm buying the paperback for my personal library.
