3-Minute Devotions for Teen Girls: 180 Encouraging Readings

This book has been such a blessing in my life. I read it with my 15 yr old every night and she reminds me if we miss. I wish I had this book when I was her age.

Bought this for my 14 year old daughter for Confirmation. She came to me a couple of days later and Thanked me- Note- she is very hard to buy for. She thanked me- she said that the short devotions were very enlightening and she loved it. She could keep the book in her backpack and read one at school or where ever/ when ever she found the need for some encouragement. This made me smile.

I do like this devotional, however I think it's better suited to slightly older teen girls. My daughter wanted to give it to a friend as a 13th birthday gift, but I read through it and felt it would not be appropriate. Many of the devotions are specific to dating and sexual relationships. While there may be 13 year olds who are at that point, mine is not. As a mother, I would not appreciate receiving it without a heads-up on the content. I am not opposed to devotions/discussions/etc. on these topics...just not at barely 13.

There’s different opinions regarding this and the scriptures are reworded from the actual Bible but whatever helps my daughter live beautiful.

I get that its a book for girls and there was a feeling that it has to be pretty but the color of the lettering is nonsensical. Its so hard to read. Bought 2 and I am sending back only for this reason. No matter how great the content is. If it's hard to read it makes no sense.

I wanted something a bit more progressive. This has messages about finding husbands, etc that I’m having my daughter skip over.

This is a small soft cover book that is typed in small aqua colored print which can make for difficult reading for some. However, the words leave me inspired while bringing peace to my soul. It is beautifully written. I purchased this for my 14 year old granddaughter and she has been reading it daily. She talks to me about the stories, new Scriptures she had learned and the meaning behind them. She loves this book which makes me very proud to have purchased it for her.

I mentor a group a high school girls at my church. I wanted to order something for them that they could relate to and wasn't too cheesy looking. Their first reaction was to mock it--because they're 15/16 year olds who giggle at tough topics like sex, drugs, drinking, bullying...but several of the girls have told me that they read the book on their own and that they like it's not "preachy". The language in the book is very down-to-earth and on their level. And at the very least, it plants the seed for them to begin a prayer life.

It’s a beautiful and I hope and pray my niece uses it. I have purchased it in the past for my daughter and I think it’s a beautiful thing to gift to any young lady!

Granddaughter liked it.

I bought this for my ninth grade daughter and had low expectations for the price. I was pleasantly suprised when it arrived! I loved the loving and positive messages throughout the book, thought they did a great job covering diverse topics and will buy from this publisher in the future. However my daughter thinks it's slightly too young for her, but this could be because like most teens she wants to be older than she is. Overall I am very happy and felt it was more than worth the money.

Great book to help you get closer to god. Will fit in a pocket.

Gifted to a teenager and they like it but it’s very small.

Its a small hand sized book. So its easy to put in her little purse to take with her, not big and bulky. Exactly as pictured and the devotions are great. Haven't read them all since its a gift.

A confirmation gift for our 13-year old granddaughter .... we went through and found the devotions to be appropriate and actually marked our favorites. She will find these little surprises as she reads the book. Love the colorful cover.

It's a nice book if your teaching your daughter how to read out of a daily devotional book

I thumbed through this and read bits and pieces before giving it as a gift - and it seems super cute for a teen. The girl I gave it to (she is 12) said she is enjoying reading it. I would definitely buy again and it seems to make a perfect little book for that teen in your life!

This is a great starter devotional book. The only reason I took a star away is because it does not have 365 days worth of scripture and reading. But it was my daughter’s first and we had a good time reading it and discussing it together.

I bought this devotional book for my 14 year old daughter. The styling of the cover is girly but cool for a "teenage" girl. Lol! This was well worth the price and she enjoys it very much! She reads it daily before starting her home school studies. She finds that it's a great way to start the day!

Did not read all days devotions, but the few I did read were good. Gifted girls at the end of out Bible Study class.

This is a cute little book just the right size to carry in a backpack or purse. It has a verse and then a short positive thought to read. I bought this for my granddaughter who is a busy high school girl. I think it's a good idea to take just a moment in her day to add some positive input to all the other stuff she learns. I hope she will agree? I added a bookmark.

Very cute! Excellent condition!! I bought two for my nieces that are close in age. They're both around 12, but very mature for their ages. I didn't see anything inappropriate in the pages. I hope they like these devo books as much as I like giving them to them.

Devotional for my middle-schooler? Yes!!! Score!!! Just what she needed as she heads back to school. This devotional shows this age group that they are important too and re-affirms God's love for them. At this age, they need to hear and know it deep inside because wow, what they are dealing with in this era is deep!

Cute and my daughter keeps it in her bathroom for toilet reads. It's small so it fits in her vanity drawer easily.

This is a nice devotional that I bought to do with my husbands nieces. It is small and compact. The devotions are short which is good. They are good devotions, but to me seem like they are directed towards someone who already knows Christ. I am using it more for sharing Christ with unbelievers, but it will work.

It was a good gift for a graduate. The teenager liked the look of it and had been hoping for something like it for helping her focus during her freshman year of high school.

I purchased several of these books for the girls in my youth Sunday school class, and they loved them. They're small and easy to carry inside a purse. The devotions are great and well thought out for teenagers too. Would recommend.

Our daughter is a sophomore in HS and super busy. These sit right on her nightstand and are easy for her to pull out each morning. We are very intentional about getting the Word of God in wherever and whenever we can. You have to be creative - and this has been a great tool.

The messages are great! The only bad thing it that is paperback and is very hard o stay on the page without the book closing!

My daughter and I were looking forward to this coming in the mail. We had used one of the author's earlier books and loved it. We were a bit disappointed in this one, since the vocabulary was much more advanced and harder for our daughter to understand. She doesn't always understand the author's point and has trouble with the wording. All in all, we're happy the book exists, since there's not much else out there for teens in the way of devotionals, but this one could have been written simpler.

I liked this book. I was expecting it to be larger in size. My 13 year old likes the scripture reading that is added at the top of the page.

This is an excellent little book for pre-teens/young teens. I bought this so that my 11 year old and I could use it as a devotion before bed. It's short, so it's easy to do, even on busy nights, and it serves as a great starting point for discussions. Scripturally sound and easy to understand. I highly recommend!

My daughter is 15 years old and LOVES this little devotional book. It was a stocking stuffer at Christmas and she's still enjoying it now it's almost Easter. She keeps it on her nightstand table and reads it before bedtime every night. Great purchase!!

My 13 year old granddaughter loves 3-Minute Devotions for Teen Girls. Minute 1 is a scripture to meditate on; Minute 2 is a devotional reading & Minute 3 is a prayer. It’s just the right devotional for busy girls.

It related to the Age group perfectly. We will all see if it is used and brings forth Questions.

I love the layout of this devotion book and it’s great how it provides a verse a little excerpt about the verse and then a prayer that you can say to help you get through the day. I highly recommend this.

The book is small and reading it can be difficult. It’s smaller than a hand. Some passages are outdated. For example, the one that states every girl wants to be a princess. The first passage discussing smelling like bacon is a bit strange too. We would not recommend this book.

This was a great gift at my GREAT Niece's birthday party, ESPECIALLY since someone else gave her her first grown up bible.

I was hoping for a little bit larger book. The binding was tight, hopefully with using it will soften up a bit. I gave it for a confirmation gift so won't be reading in myself. The receiver is younger than myself so this might not be a problem for her. The prayers inside are very good, just the right length to keep a young person interested.

Not as good as I hoped and not the best devotion book. I was hoping that this would be encouraging and inspirational. Instead I found it somewhat flat. There was one devotional in this book about sex trafficking and rape - that is going to give my daughter nightmares. We have not discussed this topic yet and finding this topic in a devotional book was a BIG surprise. A parent should decide when to discuss topics such as sex trafficking and rape with their daughters. The conversation should not be brought up (by surprise) in a very unexpected place like a devotional.
