2018 Mary and the Saints Wall Calendar

This Calendar was originally made and released through the TAN Books Official WebSite, but I decided to get it through Amazon. The Calendar arrived within the allotted time-period, indicated in the shipping information. The Calendars arrived in good condition. "Mary and the Saints 2018" is a Catholic Christian Calendar, featuring images, showing off Our Lady, the Blessed Virgin Mary, and the Catholic Christian Saints, from key points in Holy Scripture (the Bible), and in the Salvation History of the Catholic Church, as recorded by the Saints and other Catholic Authors/Artists. Each picture has an accompanying text quote with it, which is appropriate to the scene depicted. All artwork is in full color, and they occupy one Full Calendar Page each month, while the Monthly Numerical Dates and the Text Information, fill in the opposite page of equal size. All the Feast Days of the Saints are listed, both the Old Original Feast Days (Traditional), as well as the Newer Feast Days (Novus Ordo), which were changed around and after Vatican 2. There is even a very detailed explanation of Fasting, Abstinence, Fish Symbols, and Former Penitential Observances, all of which are related to Lent, Easter, and Pentecost. Detailed information on the Art-Piece, the Artist, the Art-Tools use, the Year it was made, e.t.c, are also listed, for those interested in learning more. Makes a great gift for your family members, friends or co-workers!

These are the most wonderful Catholic calendars. Tan/Benedict Press calendars are the only ones I have found that list both the traditional and new feast days and still have room for me to write in appointments. I don't particularly like all the artwork they use, but I just cover it up with holy pictures that I do like. It's worth it to have the large squares for each day and all the feasts.

This calendar is by far one of my favorites. It has the feast days of the Roman Catholic Calendar, but if you are a fan of the Extraordinary Form, there are also the feast days of that calendar, even down to the Sunday feasts too. It has the newly added feast days and the old feast days dating back to the Old Testament. I feel like I learn from this calendar every year. The imagery is so profound that you cannot help but stop and reflect on the imagery used for each month and the quotes were chosen. If you want to learn more about the Catholic Church just by a daily devotional in a way, without having the reading of the devotional, then this calendar is a good purchase.

Love these calendars. Now if only they had the liturgical color for each day, they'd be perfect!

This calendar is my favorite. It shows all the saints' feastdays and even tells whether it is a new feastday (post Vatican II) or an older one. It gives all the days of fasting and abstinence and explains the rules of both. Also, the pictures are beautiful.

Love these calendars. I get them every year. I like the art, the size and the fact that both the New and Traditional feast days are printed for each day! This is very important! I bought all three available calendars this year: saints, the Lord and the Drinking Monks.

This is a beautiful calendar with plenty of space and, at long last, all the ecclesiastical calendar information I needed. I was surprised to see a few errors (in spelling and in the greyed-out dates from adjacent months), however all the essential information is correct and this does not interfere too much with my enjoyment of the calendar.
