So Necessary for Beginning and Veteran Teachers
I work in a Title 1 School where we have many challenges. Sometimes, it feels too indulgent to take care of ourselves. 180 Days of Self Care for Busy Educators gives you the whats, hows, and whys. Dr. Boogren breaks down the barriers and removes excuses for taking care of yourself. She helps the reader realize that they cannot be what they need to be for their students, their families and most importantly themselves if they are not committed to a plan of self-care. She outlines practices to try, provides space for reflection and permission if that practice does not work for you. I'm really glad I ordered it and look forward to using it in my own self-care practice.
Great for teacher leaders
I use this with a group of teachers I meet with- they love it
so good for educators
My school hosted Tina for a virtual PD day and she was INCREDIBLE. I bought her book later that night. This is so helpful for educators especially teaching through a pandemic. I'd highly recommend this book!

Must have Self-care book!!!! It isn’t just for teachers. It could be a great outline for anyone and would be even better for a book club style group for accountability and making self-care and even bigger priority!
