Rae of Light: Paranormal Magic Teen Fantasy Romance (The Chronicles of Kerrigan Book 12)

This was even more a page turner then the other in the series. So many ups and downs that you thought you had something figured out to end up being totally wrong. My all time favorite in this book has to be the fight that happen with them going after Cromfield. Everyone joined together to get the person who wanted to end Rae's happiness. Her half-brother turned out to be a very caring and loving. The end of book 12 will leave you in a total shock as you were not expecting it to go this way. My advice to anyone reading this review is to get going on the series ASAP you'll become a fan of W.J. May right a way. I can't wait to read the other book that go along with the series.

I love this series. It's all heart with the need to survive and love. Of things that aren't meant to be and thing that happen anyway. A story of loneliness, of love, of being lost and the hope of being found. A story of unimaginable loss, of friends that help you find yourself. Mostly a book of strength and courage and the need to do the right thing. Through it all, Rae finds she is not as alone as she thought and to always expect the unexpected. If you like paranormal adventures and romance this is the series for you.

So upset right now. I thought since this is supposed to be the big showdown everything would be awesome but it wasn't. The story was okay but I wanted so much more...everything was over WAY to fast. I was like REALLY? I bought this book for this. Dang...I should've just borrowed it from a friend. The book itself was great but if you are expecting this huge epic battle then don't waste your time. It was missing so much at the end and everything felt rushed. I liked it but not as much as the other books. This one just fizzled out for me.

The 12th book in The Chronicles of Kerrigan Series. This is what Rae and the gang have been training for all their lives......a showdown with Chromfield. A suspenseful read that will have you on the edge of your seat from start to finish! I loved it!

W. J. May fleshed out her characters so well, that after reading the first 6 books for free (thanks, Amazon), I bought the next 6 in the series and the sequels too. I loved them all and am almost sorry to have finished them. Fortunately I can look forward to reading the prequel books too.

As they prepare for the final battle with Cromfield, more problems arise along with even more revelations. Rae struggles to maintain a fine balance of strength and faith without giving into internal fears of ultimate failure. The final battle will leave you on your toes, feeling breathless! Through gut wrenching losses and new beginnings, this series is far from over... Thankfully ;-) I enjoyed every word. It's a must-read series gaining a well deserved 5 stars!

W.J. May has such a unique talent, I was hooked from the first book to the last ! Now we have a prequel and another short series coming up to finally get the answers?!? Who knows for sure ? W.J. May is a very talented writer, with a creative imagination on a par with J. K. Rowling. Her books are compelling, her characters intriguing, exciting, and absolutely amazing. She never disappoints. I am always looking forward to reading the next book.

The thrill of the battle! VERY intense! Twists that I didn't see coming. The pace picks up as the battle nears. How does it end? You gotta read it! Start at the beginning so you get the whole picture.

This is an excellent book and seems like there's more to come. Can't wait to read more. I love reading all the books but I hate waiting for the next one to come out. Its hard waiting for new ones but they are always worth the wait

I've read the whole series. I just couldn't get enough of this series. And most of all it was impossible for me to put the books down. They were that good. I'm so hooked to this series,also glad to discover that there's a prequel.

Exciting series and well built characters. Read almost all the way through the entire series without stopping. Will reread after a while to get the things I missed the first time around.

I love this series. I never wanted to stop. I wish that it would keep going to s read.about the wedding with Rae and Devon. Also with Molly and Luke's baby. Jillian and Angel. It can't stop here when she just found her father. What is Beth going to do?

I ravished through the series engrossed in the live of Rae.

I so thoroughly enjoyed this series. I loved the fact the some of the bad people became part of Dad's family. The book left is hanging In looking forward to seeing another sequel to this book to see who the body was in the fire, how Simon is still alive and how everyone is going to deal with him being it. I am looking forward to reading the prequel series. Hopefully there will be more books on Rae and her friends and their life after Cromfield.

W. J. May is a very gifted and imaginative author. Her books are fast moving and easy to follow. The characters are all very well developed, and a joy to read about and learn about. Now for the reason I only gave this book 3 stars. I am disgusted. A 12 book series is outrageous. Other then the first couple of books in this series all the rest are very short. The author could of very well of combined 2 of them and published a book that took longer then a couple of hours to read. All of them except the first 2 ended in cliffhangers. All the author is doing is dragging out a good story. Now with the last book in the Kerrigan Chronicles. Or so we where lead to believe. Again no ending. It seemed like she had written the end, brought the story a satisfactory conclusion. Then changed her mind. There comes a time when every body gets to live happily every after, or not what ever the case may be. But there has to be an end some time. I am done with this author, as good of a story teller that she is. I am tired of the ongoing never ending series.

W.J. May has hit another home run with the final installment of The Chronicles of Kerrigan! As usual, she has written a complex story that grabs you right away, and holds your interest throughout. Yes, the books in the series are short, but that in no way takes away from them. Who cares how long the book is, as long as it's well-written and fun to read? I don't like that the series is over, but it was SUCH a great series, and I'm so glad I read all 12 books! Some people need to keep their complaints to themselves. If you can't say something nice, don't leave a review. W.J. May is an outstanding author, and I can't wait to read more from her!

This is my all time favorite series. I hate to see it end, but, I am excited that W.J. May is not finished with these characters!!

I liked the series, which is why I recently bought the final two books. Although the ending was reasonable, it came over as carelessly written: It was frustrating that a key character suddenly acquired a different Christian name, that English characters did things that only American characters would ever do, and that traits and consequences of earlier story lines were conveniently forgotten. If the books had a decent editor they could have moved from being good to being truly great.

***Spoilers*** Wow. There was nothing that this epic finale didn't have...Romance, drama, action, comedy, entertainment, loss, emotion, excitement, suprises and one hell of a shocking twist.... Right from that Cliff Top proposal in Scotland, to the royal overnighter to the hilarious sleep over and that awesome battle.... What started off to be a nice steady build up ended in one hell of a fight raging through to the unexpected conclusion with a hugely surprising twist. Which to be honest was pretty obvious, but only after knowing what it was...! (if that makes sense) An all round, well written page turner of a rollercoaster ride.... My overall second fave of the series. Really looking forward to the prequels and December for CoK Series 2
