Outlander Series 2 Books Set By Diana Gabaldon (An Echo in the Bone, Written in My Own Heart's Blood)

I haven't read them yet, though I've finished all previous books in the series. Worked my way this far using my library card, but these looks are so long, and I work full time and am in grad school, so I was always having to renew at the library, or bring it back when other's were waiting. And trip to library round trip 50 miles so what a pain! I'm glad to own these 2 so I can take my time with them and read start to finish. Love this series! It's so well researched, so if you can get beyond the fantasy aspect, you learn a lot about the customs and history of the times.

for the money I expected full size paperbacks, not mass market size.

The historical research is very deep and thorough, she can describe places and scenes to bring them alive really well. the drama is heart-stopping and her emotional scenes and dialogue are totally convincing. The 'Outlander' Series is no light and popular fiction, but something much better.

I started to read the Outlander series of books after watching the TV series on More 4. I then ordered the DVDs of the TV series 1, 2, 3 and 4. I am totally hooked on the series, it is BRILLIANT. STARZ are currently filming series 5. Give it a try, you won’t regret it.

Watched first 4 seasons on TV. Couldn't wait for season 5 so bought the next 4 books. Couldn't put them down fabulous. Can't wait to see how it turns out on TV.
