About the Author

Charles H. Kraft is senior professor of anthropology and intercultural communication at the School of Intercultural Studies, Fuller Theological Seminary. He is the president of Kraft Ministries, an inner healing and deliverance ministry, and he also serves as vice president of Hearts Set Free Ministries. The author of more than thirty books, Kraft conducts seminars around the world on spiritual warfare, healing, and deliverance. He and his wife, Meg, live in South Pasadena, California.

    The author is effective in describing what deliverance ministry is, what it entails, common misbeliefs overthrown by the truths of the word of God. He thoroughly regards common spiritual and emotional problems that plague our relationship to God in search of a place of freedom that the Lord calls us to experience with him.
    Acknowledging that spiritual warfare is real, and fairly common, is a first start to understand the grace and freedom that is hidden in deep level healing work such as use of this effective and practical book. Kraft often reminds the reader that healing is found where Jesus is. This is explored throughout the book, to seek Jesus in our thoughts and memories to guide us towards freedom in deliverance of spiritual demons.

    I found this book to be very thorough and an experiential tool I will be using as reference in further study and practice of spiritual warfare, healing and deliverance. I thoroughly enjoyed the declarative yet grace filled truths that the author speaks in his writing, in such regards as the lies and hurts that manifest in our lives causing destruction to our spiritual, emotional and even physical wellbeing from the spiritual demons that reside within us. Through Kraft's wisdom of the knowledge and character of God working in our lives through the power of the holy spirit within us, the author captures your attention with truth and love, to truly understand the power of deep level healing in order to experience freedom from bondage and emotional wounds in order to live in communion with our Savior.

    Counseling helps people manage their symptoms but they are rarely healed. His process helps identify the reasons for/root of problems and helps the client imagine Christ with them in that memory (since God is omnipresent, he was there). Includes describing a session in detail. More conservative Christians will balk at some of his methods, which are "extra-Biblical" but for him have worked (and the deliverance part will be very helpful unless don't believe we are affected by unseen forces of darkness as the Bible teaches). I'm glad to have read it and that many are finding freedom from their hurts by surrendering them to the Lord to carry the burden and bring justice, offer forgiveness and be able to move on in freedom.

    This is the tool that provides the skill sets you will need to bring healing and deliverance. I am a linear thinker and "Two Hours to Freedom" was written in a style that I can process so easily. An analogy would be the melding of a GPS and a regular folded map. The GPS shows you where you are right now with a clear view toward the very near future and the map can show you all the way back to before your conception through cellular division womb time, fetal development months, birth, early childhood, school, pre-teen, teen to adulthood.

    Your will receive FORGIVENESS and you will give FORGIVENESS. Your bondage will be broken, hurts healed, Demons stripped away. A well written complete guide. It works just the way the author Charles H. Kraft has written it. We were amazed.

    I started my inner healing journey. I have had so many things happen to me, so many traumas and episodes in my life. Even though I had forgiven and blessed those who have hurt me, I still needed to heal from the deep traumas I suffered. I am a single Mother on a limited budget I could not afford what most of these ministries wanted to charge me for inner healing. I remember one place wanted to charge me $6K for inner healing. I bought this book for $8 and Holy Spirit has been my companion throughout and I am being healed one trauma at a time.

    I have been interested in inner healing for over 20 years, after hearing Judith MacNutt speak about this ministry, while she and husband Francis were on a tour of the UK. She writes the foreword to this book (which is how I came upon it). The book gives a very clear and down to earth outline to anyone who wants to start this ministry. No special gifting is needed. The author points out that he is not particularly gifted, just obedient to The Holy Spirit. God wants to free those enslaved by emotional hurts. Deep Level Healing is the term the author uses. It works!
