About the author

Tillie Cole is a Northern girl through and through. She originates from a place called Teesside on that little but awesomely sunny (okay I exaggerate) Isle called Great Britain. She was brought up surrounded by her mother -- a farmer's daughter, her crazy Scottish father, a savagely sarcastic sister and a multitude of rescue animals and horses.
Being a scary blend of Scottish and English, Tillie embraces both cultures; her English heritage through her love of HP sauce and freshly made Yorkshire Puddings, and her Scottish, which is mostly demonstrated by her frighteningly foul-mouthed episodes of pure rage and her much loved dirty jokes.
Having been born and raised as a Teesside Smoggie, Tillie, at age nineteen, moved thirty miles north to the 'Toon', Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, where she attended University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts honours degree in Religious Studies. She returned two years later to complete a Post-Graduate Certificate in Teaching High School Social Studies. She regards Newcastle to be a home from home and enjoyed the Newcastle Geordie way of life for seven 'proper mint', 'lush' years.
Tillie, from a very young age has been part of the theatre community and loves nothing more than to entertain through the mediums of cheerleading, dance, drama and singing (sometimes in the rain). She can also be found in nightclubs around the world imitating her favourite artists alongside her crazy BFF’s - The Teesside Massive - or, sat on the front row at the theatre bopping along to her favourite musical, ‘The Rocky Horror Picture Show ’, clad in a only a maids outfit, clutching a bag of rice and sporting a vibrant shade of red lipstick.
One summers day, after finishing reading her thousandth book on Kindle, Tillie turned to her husband and declared, "D'you know, I have a great idea for a story. I could write a book." Several months later, repeating the same tired line, she was scolded by her husband to shut up talking about writing a novel and 'just bloody do it!' Immediately she set off on a crazy journey, delving deep into her fertile imagination. Tillie, ever since, has written from the heart. She combines her passion for anything camp and glittery with her love of humour and dark brooding men (most often muscled and tattooed – they’re her weakness!).
After years of teaching high school Social Studies and following her Professional Rugby Player husband around Europe, they have settled in Calgary, Alberta where Tillie spends most of her days (and many a late night) lost in a writing euphoria or in her dream of pursuing a dazzling career as a barrel-racing, tasselled-chap, Stetson-wearing cowgirl... Ye-haw!

- Reviewed in the United States on November 28, 2017OMG...this book was...how do I even accurately describe it??.....Beautifully, poetically, and sinisterly SICK!! Words I would have never thought I'd ever put together like that, but yet I did, and it is, and I F'ING LOVED IT!!!!! Like seriously dark and twisted and sick....yet, at the same time, beautiful and passionate and heart wrenching!! And ohhhh so satisfying! Does that make me sick and twisted?? Probably so, but I couldn't care less because this book was FAN-F'ING-TABULOUS!!! From literally the very first word, I was hooked, and I wasn't released until the very last word...and even then, I was a freakin mess!! I hated for it to end and have had to give myself a couple days to process and recuperate in order to write this review! It actually reminded me of the amazing talented A Wilding Wells' novels, which are everything and more, but just with an insanely dark, sick, f'ed up twist to it!! How can you not love that!?!? lol
These two Sick Fux, Ellis/Dolly and Heathen/Rabbit, take you on their extremely dark and unorthodox journey, giving you an insight into their twisted worlds in the most gripping, emotional, daunting way! I absolutely LOVED these two...like hardcore loved them! lol From the time they met as little kids, they were drawn together like magnets and Dolly and Rabbit were born! After many years have passed and a ton of horrendous incidents have been endured by them, they are finally reunited...and Dolly and Rabbit go down the rabbit hole to begin their mission through Wonderland! And boy, oh boy, is it an intense, thrilling, emotional journey!
I won't give away any more details because this is truly one of those books that you just HAVE to read for yourself, going into it pretty much blind like I did, to fully embrace and take in the whole story and what it is intended for!! If you don't like dark reads and are not open minded to trying a very interestingly unique world, you've been forewarned. But if you also have a black heart, love these types of journeys, and want to be taken on an adventure unlike anything else you've ever discovered, then this is most definitely a read for you!!! Hurry up, though...the clock is ticking away and you don't wanna miss this adventure!!!
Tick tock, tick tock, tick tock.....

“I'm afraid so. You're entirely bonkers. But I'll tell you a secret. All the best people are.” Alice in Wonderland (2010)
I never got the fairy tales read to me in bed or if I did the bad outweighs the good and I just can’t remember, honestly I don’t even think I want to. This book though “Sick Fux” by Tillie Cole is something I will never forget, it haunts me.
Now this isn’t a squeal to anything but take “Natural Born Killers” plus “Alice In Wonderland” and seriously you have a worthy successor to either, though I wouldn’t let your kids see the latter and then move on to this. I’ve seen porn that has been cleaner honestly but the fact that I keep seeing this, picturing it, maybe I’m no different from Heathen and Ellis, oh and do I hear sirens? How about the author, the first book I have ever read from her and I can’t help but wonder what brought this on, I’d buy her a cup of tea, Earl Grey, for god sake’s Earl Grey nothing else will ever do, wow.
Five stars easy but how can I glow so much over this book as sick and as twisted as it is, I don’t mind tweeting quotes but there were so many I have to keep to myself here. It’s dark, terribly dark and when you do see the light, it’s the fires of Hell, not brimstone but gunfire, and however, do you wipe away the stains of blood? Okay to make a long story short, again refer to “Natural Born Killers” and give them a righteous cause and no “fux” to give except for each other Heathen and Ellis becoming Rabbit and Dolly, nothing more.
I don’t know if I’m more jealous of the talent or the fact I’m still looking for my Dolly, another comparison could be Bonnie and Clyde but this book, I’ve never read anything like it. Goes without saying I’ll be buying a copy for my actual shelf and I’ve already been talking it up to a good friend as well.
“The three always turned me on: blood, and death, and Dolly. And better yet . . . Killer Dolly”
― Tillie Cole, Sick Fux (2017)
Maybe the fact that this book turned me on so much should probably be a bad sign, things a girl could do to get me, my dog likes her, sing to me, or be anything like Dolly in this book, allowing me to be Rabbit.
Heathen James/White Rabbit, we both wear black, I’ve got at least five clocks, we both imagine a lot of people dead, both been dominated by men (not like that for me thank god), and both filled with darkness. I should also mention there is a bit BDSM master in him; should I call him a hero, given what he did for Dolly, sure and I actually believe everybody he kills people wise had it coming. They say that hate is taught and with Rabbit, the man became a Ph.D. but the question becomes could he have done better by Dolly.
To me personally once you get past their childhoods then the blood and the death doesn’t seem to be enough, trust me just let them grow up and you’ll be cheering this Wonderland duo. What about the sex though… well how sick are you, there are plenty of scenes from evil, to rough, to sensual?
Do I even have to say it… I have fallen in love Ellis Earnshaw/Dolly give me a girl like her and I’m good and no I don’t mean like one of her uncles. Honestly, Rabbit did the best he could because there is no way therapy could fix her, and I’m sure there are advocates that would say otherwise but those same people scream for punishments of the perpetrators and with what was done to Dolly… Even she acknowledged a part of herself being born and dying and there was no other choice, just saying.
As far as other characters, besides hating Rabbit’s parents and Dolly’s father, the only other character that concerned me was The Mad Hatter who plays everyday man you saw this now tell me that Rabbit and Dolly are so wrong.
This book has my five stars and even more of my money and should have yours too but if you don’t want any spoilers you should stop here. Maybe I should start saving the best for last but was there anything wrong with this title, that five stars can’t fix.
I can’t pick my favorite sex scene, but the mutual masturbation scene when they watched each other and spoke the epitaphs that they once heard, I’ve never met a girl that would let me talk like that. How about the deaths, so much death and I found myself hoping that Chapel or Henry/Hyde was sort of a Jigsaw figurehead which they sort of were for Rabbit. Now here’s something quite new, so I’m at work listening to Spotify and I looked up the “Sick Fux”, and “Dolly’s Mixtape” playlists… go download these now, incredible, spectacular.
Now Rabbit I think was pretty lucky to meet Chapel and Henry/Hyde despite the circumstances, two killers and protection so he could learn how to take revenge and help his Dolly, just seems convenient. I also didn’t like Dolly’s continued ignorance, not her fault but after everything how about learning to read, from a psychological standpoint she’s genius and living in Wonderland is good but reading I think might have been another tool for Rabbit to control her. Also, the simplest answer is usually correct but I guess I was expecting more near the end not that it isn’t surprising.
Surprise that I love this book, that I love Dolly, that I feel like I know Rabbit, that I’ll have to look into more playlists in the future and maybe keep my eye on Tillie Cole’s works. What else is there to say, Natural Born Killers, Alice In Wonderland, Sucker Punch, in a blender and you get a masterpiece that is Sick Fux, but you’ll never look at Alice the same again, I guarantee that.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 16, 2024Extremely dark and twisty, not for the faint of heart, and I do not recommend for novice dark romance readers. This book has left me completely speechless and gobsmacked.
It delves into the depths of human depravity of the sickest kinds. There is heavy on-page pëd0philia written in past and present views as well as graphic t0rtûre/mûrder scenes.
The novel explores the minds of its characters in a way that is both disturbing and fascinating. It twists and weaves a story of cruelty, abuse, love, and above all, revenge.
If you enjoy unconventional dark books, this macabre read will be perfect. Dolly and Rabbit give off a combination of dark Alice in Wonderland, Harley Quinn and Joker, and I Spit on Your Grave type vibes.

Me llegó en perfectas condiciones. Es algo grueso, de pasta blanda y portada de un material brilloso. Es un libro que se tiene que cuidar mucho ya que ese material fácilmente se podría dañar, pero de ahí en fuera todo bien.

4.0 out of 5 stars A beautiful, heartbreaking story 🖤
4,5🌟
.
A happy place. We all had one, as kids.
A fairy world, rich in colors and magic. A world where we are safe, where good always wins over evil. A refuge, for those who have lost their way, tired of way too many battles against the bad guys.
And this it is exactly here where Dolly takes refuge: in Wonderland.
But hers isn’t the traditional and ordinary fairy tale. It’s raw, bloody, with a taste of revenge: revenge for those who have stolen her innocence and have dropped her into a pit, surrounded by locked doors. And right behind one of those doors, she heard the crying, the excruciating pain and the fear of a little girl, begging to be saved.
Ellis is alone, while Dolly has by her side her best friend, her fellow adventurer and her compass for the tangled roads to travel: Rabbit, the one stained with ink and with a pocket watch announcing death: Tick Tock. It’s tea time. But only Earl Grey, nothing else works.
In this fairy tale, the villains will be defeated, one by one. Just as they once took away the happy and carefree moments.
There is no happy ending for them, only agony as they are swallowed up by their sins. Sins they can never erase, because they have never felt guilt. They will always remain immersed in darkness, just like the helpless souls they have sent to hell.
This book ...
Yes, it’s not recommended for weak-hearted. It’s raw, violent and very descriptive. But it’s also a band aid for those who, just like Dolly and Rabbit, are seaking for peace... And if revenge can only be imagined, so be it. In fantasy everything is allowed and nobody has the right to censor it.
This book is the story for those who didn’t have the right to say “no” and have to live with memories, with filthiness , and with their inner child trapped in a never ending nightmare. It’s the voice of the victims, which can finally be heard by the whole world after being silenced for so long. Everyone deserves a happy ending. And Dolly and Rabbit have made it happen. In their own way.
This book... is the smile that emerges on a starry night, lighting up the eyes and the heart. It’s the “I love you” of someone who understands you and accepts you just as you are: broken, different, but free to choose. And Especially by whom to be touched.
To Tillie Cole: Thank you for writing this story.
For those who are judging and reporting it: the Dolly in me is sending you a very elegant and classy middle finger.
For all the villains in someone else’s story: Tick Tock.

This was my first Tillie Cole book and this woman can WRITE.
It's not for the faint of heart. It's definitely one insane, twisted and sad, crazy and bloody story, but it's SO good!! The plot is genius, I don't think I have ever read anything remotely like it.

You get to go on a most heartbreaking yet twistedly divine journey with Rabbit (Heathen) and Dolly (Ellis) where they take back their power and what was stolen from them. The characters are cleverly written, they are messed up and would be all sorts of wrong in the real world. But the relationship between them is so powerful from the very first encounter, you can easily tell they simply belong together. They have been subject to an absolutely horrendous past, but their love for each other has remained. And I really loved how with Dolly's mental state in question, Rabbit uses the Wonderland theme to bring her out of the comatose state. It deals with trauma in a way that broke my heart and also put it back together again.

5.0 out of 5 stars 5 TIME FOR TEA FUX STARS
When I say I want a dark romance I mean THIS DARK, THIS BLOODY, THIS FCKED UP! TWO CRAZY MURDEROUS SOULS TOGETHER TO KILL THE BAD MEN OF WONDERLAND
And in the name of Lord this one was almost too much for me....
I won’t give any spoilers because I believe you will enjoy it more that way. But I must tell you Dolly and Rabbit story was the most dark one I read until now. Some scenes made me sick and disgusted but that’s exactly what I look forward in a book, to feel something. And this one was a motherfcking roller coaster!
The only thing I think you should be warned is: get ready for extremely described gore scenes, child abuse and rape, steamy sex scenes with blood play AND SO MUCH M O R E.
This book is a masterpiece and I will recommend it to everyone until the day I die.
